Have we made any adjustments to the Wembley pitch? IIRC the size didn't suit us last year

I think the new pitch size will suit our attack a lot more. Against weaker sides I think we'll abuse them. But on the flip side will leave us exposed to teams knocking it over the top of our back line and on diagonals in to the corner for wingers to run onto - I worry about that, and hope Poch and the team are already adjusting the approach for that.
Hopefully we will get off to a good start at Wembley against Chelsea. That game could define our season, I reckon.

Commentators saying it's a twisted ankle for Trippier, how bad is that?

Cannot understand Sissoko. There is an immense player in there somewhere, but he chooses to piss it all up the wall.
Should go to jail for that.
Yes agree its wtong, he should find a phone box?
Even Paris, home of the pissoir, launched a high-profile, all-out crackdown on outdoor urination up walls., Sissoko you are in the UK now, play or piss our way?

What the FUCK happened to Sissoko? I was expecting him to be off the pace again, and he looked mustard. Confusing cunt..

I'm not a fan of Sissoko, but I have to give credit where it is due, he was good today and in fairness he has been getting better over time for a while now. I still have serious doubts about whether he is good enough to play for us, but he must be working hard on his game so fair play.

Did anyone off here go? What was the atmosphere like with so few people and so many people deciding to boycott/not attend? Can imagine it was pretty poor. Great performance though, which obviously would have lifted things. I hope the players knew the reason why we weren't there.

Looked so much better at Wembley now our ground staff have been able to cut the grass shorter and work there magic, if only we can do something about the atmosphere as well, but let's get a few wins under way starting with the chavs and things will be looking good!
Got to admit does feel a bit weird having the chavs and gooners playing at there today though! :dembelefingers:

don't see what others are saying about sissoko
I didn't think he played that well, yes he had a few breakaway runs, but did nothing great at the end of it
often he stood in easy positions where it was simple 1-2 pass but nothing to create dangerous movement
maybe I have a downer on £30m player
feel the same about janssen just doesn't move into dangerous positions, lacks forward movement

I can relate to some of that, neither of them give that level of threat or anticipation of a positive outcome when their in possession. Nothing looks natural with the ball at their feet. He is not a £30m player. But he looked decent yesterday albeit against under cooked opposition in a friendly.
