I can't add anything that hasn't been said already. A simply amazing, staggering result, given the disparity between the two clubs, and the players on the pitch.
I watched it with my Chelsea-supporting father-in-law, and I took sheer delight in his disappointment! I can't remember feeling like that since Woody scored in the League Cup final. Every goal - the atmosphere in the ground - the players' reactions ... we felt so united as a club.
Beautiful.
by far the best we have played as a team for YEARS.
I said the same thing. It was like something from the 'Arry days. Superb offensive performance. Blew them away.
Gotta go for 5. We have to.
You were right mate!
Trust me, you could probably pick any one of my inputs today regarding the team, and the opposite had happened....!
All love mate
You had a mare Sammy my boy!
COME HERE :adebaehug:
Mourinho's post-match interview was embarrassing. Basically blamed the whole thing on the supppsed anti-Chelsea agenda, but refused to directly comment on it so as not to get into trouble. The worst part was his insinuation of bad calls, especially on the Hazard tackle, but then said that Hazard even said it wasn't a card. No credit to Spurs at all, except for quick mention of Kane and Chadli.
What a way to start the new year!
Anyone have a clue who the journalist is?
His questions definitely earned him an honorary Motm.

The only comparison that I can make is Australian Rules Football and the way the league and the media manage press conferences here in Australia. If a coach (manager) made comments similar to what he does/has, then they would be fined substantial amounts of money and if nothing else would be slated heavily by various opinion pieces in newspapers.
Why doesn't the Premier League/English FA do something similar in these cases? For him to insinuate there is a conspiracy against Chelsea devalues the referees and the League itself.
Can someone please explain this to me?
Thanks
The only way that you shut up cunts like Mourinho criticizing referees and alleging conspiracy is to dock the club points, no fines then see if he wants to continue with his fantasy !
I think there's some VERY unfair criticism of Mourinho in this thread, which I can understand given the euphoria and adrenaline from such a fantastic result.
Listen to the interview again - from the very first question, the 'journo' has no interest in speaking to him about the game, he wants Jose's thoughts on the officiating. His first 2 or 3 questions are all based on this, and Jose keeps refusing to comment. They have a little chat about the game and then the 'journo' brings it back to Dowd, eventually getting a summary out of Jose, which has now made the headlines instead of
our win - but he tried his best to avoid the topic.
Personally, I think the fucking 'journo' should be the one getting fined. An absolute abomination of an interview, giving no thought to the game or the scoreline whatsoever. He knew what he was doing. When Jose was asked about us, he was complimentary. He of course was upset, as he should be - and admitted Hazard said no pen (as was evident by his lack of appeal at the time) though I would say if the second JV 'handball' was against us, we'd have felt hard done by - so I can see his point there. By no means stonewall though.
I don't think you can apportion blame to Mourinho when so soon after he's seen his side get hammered the interviewer clearly has an agenda and one simple aim - to get him to criticise the officials.
In fact, it summised the entire broadcast by BT Sport. Owen, Humphreys, McMananaman...all a waste of space. They didn't even show Poch's interview. Instead, the last 10 minutes had TWO different BT Sport programs on the same screen with the two panels talking over each other.
Despicable.
If it were Utd they'd have had a 30 minute montage at the end.
There's only one Tottenham <3
