We cannot have the same weak mentality dropping in every fucking 2nd half of the season, running out of steam and creativity. Something is not right whenever after the winter windows it seems. The drives are all gone from some of the better performing players. Heads and confidence are dropping.

In this system we have to rely heavily on production from our wingers when facing a banked back 5, but we aren't getting enough from Kulusevski or Werner when facing their full backs to make them worried or create chances.
Other than that we have to rely on the occasional bit of magic from Maddison which at the moment isn't quite coming either. We don't have the setup to just swing crosses in so we have to work the ball - we need to get midfielders making advanced runs into the box and try to find them with penetrative passes.
Shame we haven't worked on this during the last couple weeks because it's been the same story as the last 2 times we played against a deep back 5.

He’s very inconsistent. He had a great start to the season, had 8 good games up until the Luton game & has done pretty much nothing since then

More of the same unfortunately - It's been disjointed. It looks predictable/worked out by the opposition. It's been very blunt.
