If Sissoko is fit, don't mind to see him in the midfield. He always seems to raise his game against the best teams.
Need Sissoko clatter Messi for a repeat of this.

There’ll be a fucking riot

Sissoko is an incredibly limited player but in the games against Madrid last season his mobile and athletic presence was useful. He kept it simple and helped us a fair bit. Obviously if better players are available then he shouldn’t be involved but in the worst case scenario where Dele, Eriksen and Dembele are all missing then we may need him.

Agreed. His pure physical presence will be useful in a game like the one we can expect. He's big, strong and fast. If he is fit and better options aren't available he should be used.

Worst case scenario just put him on the field, point him at Messi and tell him to run straight into him for 90 minutes.

Despite Barcelona being in a bit of a rough patch at the moment, they still chose to 'rest' Messi and Busquets at the weekend.

FC Barcelona resting some of the best players in the world so they are fresh to play little old Tottenham. Oh how we've progressed!

COYS!

Alex Ferguson always said CL qualification was all about getting 10 points from your six fixtures. We should have three on the board by now, and be able to enjoy this but, well you know what happened in Milan.

This now means we HAVE

This now means we HAVE to beat Inter at our place and do the double on PSV. And that still means we need a point from our two ties against Barca.

Camp Nou will always be a tough place to get anything from, so from a mathematical point of view we need to get something on the board in this fixture. A draw wouldn't be a disaster - but a defeat would mean we have to take points in Spain.

Heart says 3-1 Spurs; head says 1-1 is good enough for now.

10 point assertion stands on basis of Inter getting points off Barca (likely but not definite)

It's also presupposing PSV are the lambs to the willing slaughter. I would think PSV might have a thing or two to say on the matter.

No way Barcelona are as good as they were 3 or 4 years ago but neither are we as good as we were last season..

Not a game I am worrying about as I see the Premier League as far more important and the Cardiff game one to worry about more.

Nothing will be decided on Wedbesday.

Don't mind the score as long as we show up and play positively. None of this negative defensive Mourinho circa 2010 semi shit

I think we played a more reactive style against Real and Dortmund last season and it worked a treat. With our passing midfielders all injured we will probably look to use Lucas and Son on the break rather than play intricate football. The front 3 were very effective against Huddersfield playing off long balls and into the channels and that was at 50% effort level.

It would be daft to try and play possession football against Rakitic, Coutinho and Busquets given our midfield injuries.
