Strange how Son, Lamela and Dele were linking up and/or assisting each other very well.

Also strange how Trippier assisted Aurier.

Don't they know that it's a "vs" thing and we have arguments in threads with sides to pick ffs.

What a joke of a game. Showing how every player has strengths and adds value to the team.

Announcers only mentioned how Spurs and Chelsea will battle it out for 4th. Nothing about jumping over Liverpool for 3rd.

Need to show that we ARE mentality stronger.

Spurs of old may have lost to Juventus and then gone on to drop points against Bournemouth. Chelsea, Liverpool and Man Utd ALL play the day before us so it's likely that Chelsea beat Palace and put a bit of pressure on us so we need to just go to Bournemouth, play our game and hopefully smash them and make sure we go a step further to reclaiming a spot in the Champions League because let's be honest, we all WANT that again.

Lloris
Aurier - Sanchez - Vertonghen - Davies
Wanyama - Dembele
Eriksen - Dele - Son
Kane
1-4
Just don't get this "we must this", or "we must that", "to prove we are xxxxx". This ain't 1990, the last game we lost before tonight was against City, we followed that up with a run of being unbeaten for 17 games, our longest unbeaten run since blah, blah 1963 or something or another. We know how to react, we've proven what we are made of, it shouldn't be in question.

This is exactly what Lamela brings to the team - even though he's an attacking creative player, he sets the tempo for everyone else with his pressing and aggression.

Can't understand the Spurs fans who don't rate him.

1) Jan Vertonghen is an absolute Spurs LEGEND! Really calm presence in CB and barely put a feet wrong. Without him we would have been in deep sheeet
2) If Mousa Dembele is fit in summer and will not be one of the main CMs for Belgium, then their coach is an absolute dumbf*ck
3) How much could we get for Danny Rose in current market? No need for such player, let's rather give KWP game practice when Davies can't play (which should not be too often given we only have EPL and FA left)
4) I absolutely wish that Kane would get back ASAP! But TODAY (!) it seemed to me that his departure was blessing in disguise. Our smaller and faster forwards did really well.
5) Dele Alli... such a display, absolutely LOVED it how he went to rub his goal in to the Bournemouth fans, brilliant
6) On that note- eat sh*t Bournemouth fans. Pathetic performance by them (outsang mostly and whenever head were only throwing negative abuse towards Spurs).

Some stats for the bloke commentating
Spurs have won their first game of the season conceding first.
By 3 clear goals, away.
Spurs have scored 2 or more goals for the , enter amount, without Kane.
Spurs haven’t lost in the league since Man City away. Lost once in 19 games
Aurier has scored more league goals than Kyle Walker did in his last 3 seasons

I think playing with a ‘Liverpool style’ front four with no recognised striker when Kane is out is a better idea than expecting a striker that barely plays to do what he does.
