Think I’ve just had my fill of doom and gloom from this forum today. Looking at this place, some of our fans are as bad as the tabloids. Only in the last few hours I’ve seen Dele is gone, Eriksen is gone, Toby is gone, Rose is gone, Kane is gone, Poch is gone...... I know it’s largely bullshit but it still bums me out dammit! Yeah I understand what you are saying. I try to avoid the media when they are over exaggerating our problems.
They always get carried away. Anyway, hopefully toby wants to stay & is just trying to get as much £££ as he can!
 
I cannot see Levy looking to write big contracts until he knows whether we will be at WHL next season and in CL. As Toby not playing he can wait a bit longer. However cannot lose Toby.
 
Replacements for him are going to be hard to come by, as he’s an immense defender, but probably necessary.

Calum Chambers has a very similar skill set IMO, his first games for Woolwich, his entire season at Boro and his performances for England u21s in the summer prove he’s a very capable footballing central defender.

Just when you think you need cheering up a bit...fuck me lads I’ve laughed at some of the theories here.
If he goes he goes fuck him.
If he stays, he stays & he’s the best thing including sliced bread. Life’s too fucking short to worry if Toby is on his way. Absolutely love him as a player. But this club survived a long time before he came & will still be around a long time after he’s hung up his boots.
Ball in your court Toby. Do what you must on the advice of the leeches that advise you. I hope you stay but if you want out, just close the door behind you. Cheers.
