Quite simply not in place of a Spurs fan, and not if it pushes prices up. We're a football club not a fucking tourist trap.

I wouldn't go along with that. Its nice that peope from abroad want to come and see us in flesh. They're not the problem and probably make up less than 3% of a match day crowd. And come the new David Lammy stadium we may need more of them.

The problem is the legalised touting.

But what draws you(us) to a football match is the same thing that draws them. It's just that you've got many years of attendance and a true emotional connection to the club whereas tourists want to experience for thmselves the atmosphere of a live game, as has been either recommended by a friend or marketed to them by NBC etc.

Like it or not, top premier league Clubs' grounds are tourist attractions now and one of the key ways to finance the club through merchandise etc.

Bit of a side argument really as you're dead right that these people (tourists or otherwise) should not be able to jump ahead of real spurs fans just because they can afford to spend £200 on a ticket that some dispicable cunt has sold on stubhub.

Fuck stubhub

Wouldn't a 'real' Spurs fan buy a ticket during members sale? Or general sale even?

As far as I can see this just a route for Johnny Tourist to buy a ticket. No Spurs fan should be forced into using it as plenty available before they get to StubZhub.

Just seems to be a fight based on political persuasion, not ticketing access for Spurs fans.

Besides, far more worrying matters to hand like the Met and the FA trying to strip away our history and 'normal' excessive ticket pricing. StubHub is a side show.
