A mate played golf with Malkay Mackay's agent today and apparently he has been told the job has been given to Sherwood because he asked for less money and that's the only way they could split the two.

Malkay wanted two of these

Hopefully he will play with no DM when we play palace next. Palaces success was all based on pulis's good defensive organisation to make up for their lack of quality, can't imagine how they can do well playing open attacking football with the players they have.

Jesus people act like he left us to join the scum.

He took on a team who were struggling badly, didn't get the unrealistic top 4 the club and a lot of deluded fans were expecting then gets dumped at the end of the season for doing a fairly reasonable job.

Do you expect him to be happy with the way things went down?

Alright Tim.

Very strange decision ... What exactly is he looking? :sherwoodwtf:

I listened to the guardian podcast, apparently very much like with the West Brom thing, Palace want to keep their coaching staff already in place, like the guy in charge at moment, Tim wanted to bring Ramsey and Ferdy

Yeah, no way they'll sack Keith Millen just cos Sherwood says so. Millen is a proper Palace man and has steered the club through before, after Holloway quit. I imagine they have loyalty to a man who has served their club well and will continue to do so. If Sherwood couldn't accept that, they've done the right thing in making a stand on it (if the issue really is about staff)

By 'withdrawn' do you mean told to jog the fuck on?

Probably holding out for Real or Bayern Munich instead

Gooner melt

Sherwood is absolute comedy.

Total managerial novice, bowls up to an interview at a Prem club and turns THEM down.

His autobiography is going to be epic.

i wonder if the serialisation rights will go to that shitty magazine he co owned with redknapp. the one that "celebrity" subscribers (the target demographic) didnt have to pay for, so somewhat surprisingly, made a huge loss.
