Of this 5 block game (including Brentford win), Everton away was the hardest fixture.

Win the next 3 at home and13/15 is not bad.

After that the games get a lot tougher but we will have Son and Biss back plus Madders and Bentancur back to full fitness with Sarr integrated again.

No slip ups in these next three!

TBF Wolves will be a hard day's work.... They're decent and if not for getting screwed on multiple occasions at the begining of the season they'd likely be 6th or 7th right now.

Liverpool v Luton was rescheduled from Saturday 24 Feb to Wednesday 21 Feb.
Surely our game v Chelsea scheduled for Friday 23 Feb will be rescheduled to midweek as well?
Or will there be an issue about this being a TV game?

Think we will sneak top 4. Villa away a big game but fixture congestion in europe will hurt teams. I expect top 4 and 9 wins will do it. Had a look at last 15 games. 11 of them are virtually bankers.
Yeah city, Liverpool & Woolwich top 3. Then us , villa & probably United going for 4th. I think we will get it.

Let's just win the next 3 and see where we are, all at home.

Sadly, we likely remain 5th after those 3 home games with a game in hand even with sides above us dropping points.

Just the way the fixtures fall in this period. Mentally feels better for us fans to be sitting 3rd or 4th even if the teams below have games in hand - but my observations over the years suggest we are better at getting results sitting 5th chasing down 3rd/4th than we are sitting 2nd/3rd chasing higher goals.

We're not catching City for love or money this season, they need to win to keep the other 2 at bay.

Correlation I imagine between those above average games and ones below are that they were pre-Chelsea.

When we had a fully fit team. Bissouma was on form, Maddison was arguably the best player in the league. Sarr was becoming a key player. Romero and van de Ven was the best centre back pairing in the league and Vicario was unstoppable.

We've not played that line up since.

Hopefully with Son back in two weeks, everyone can get back to full fitness and we can get back to playing :

Vicario
Porro - Romero - VDV - Udogie
Sarr - Bissouma - Maddison
Kulusevski - Richarlison - Son
