Think we should be aiming to do as well as possible obviously, to win every game and hope to win as many as possible. With no Europe, some luck and a big addition in Jan you could end up contending if it ends up a wild season with a somewhat lower pts total. On balance of performances so far, and the quality of squads, I'd be expecting us to be behind City, Ars and Lpool in fourth place around Christmas time.

No harm being positive about the start and hoping for a high finish .Its a tough enough ask all the same to make top four with city pool and the goons looking difficult to oust from the top four .Of course we can do it but hopefully when we hit a rocky spell it's not too costly and we all stay on board with the team .

If you had no Europe and fewer World Cup players, you really were laughing last season. Boot will be on the other foot in the spring for us, when we will have not played much. We've really got to use that to get CL (or CL money) and strengthen again (while giving new contracts to some of the first team).

and no way they will be crap twice in a row

United and Goons lost last night...😵‍💫
The thing is Liverpool will struggle to get knocked out of the Europa before the semis.

Villa despite that calamitous start will struggle to get knocked out of the farmers cup before the semis

City will probably make the CL semis as a minimum.

West Ham will top their Europa group. Newcastle and Woolwich will likely qualify from their groups.

Brighton and United in trouble - but even with early exits Englands chances of getting one of the additional spots is practically nailed on, it will take a calamity of epic proportions to miss out.

We will be home and dry by then anyway so don’t see the problem myself.

Sometimes better to play the tough games in a row. Gets you in a rhythm of a higher level.

If we had Europe and more physical demands then that would be shit but 1 game a week
, that run of fixtures should set us up well for the run in
Have to agree...
And you have to think that at LEAST 2,3 or even all 4 of them will have latter stages of European games to slot in between our playing them!!

What I can see is the whole of April/May being Sky Spurs Sports!!
...we'll be lucky to see another Saturday 3pm fixture again after Christmas!
