I’ve worked out the plan.

We play shit this season. Get knocked out of the cups early. Finish around tenth.

Sign a couple of decent players in the summer.

Have next season free of European ties and blast our way to the title with a fully rested squad.

Genius by Poch.

Don’t stop posting because the old skool hardcore nutters don’t mind relegation

I’ve heard to be a real fan you should even celebrate if we lose 4-0 to West Ham.
It’s going to be much better to be in 15th place in a stadium with 45,000 empty seats because that means we’ve got 15,000 real fanz all having a wail of a time.

Also don’t forget that we got relegated in 77 so how can it be bad now?
And if you remember the 90s you shouldn’t complain about going on a worse away run than we EVER did in the 90s.

You can also use the get out of jail card that reads “Poch should go and we are shit but I’m not going to moan about it even though I agree with you, I’m going to moan about you moaning because I used to go to matches in the back of an Escort van with 17 geeeeeeeeezers in donkey jackets and we all jumped out and had a piss on a bus stop then climbed into the Shelf and was reeeeeeeal for 90 minutes even if we lost 7-0”

Yeeeeeeeahhhhhhhhh
Funny..! Do I remember the relegation....I remember winning the double in the 60's. I was a nipper but I remember my dad taking me to Wembley for the cup final when (I think) we beat Leicester 2-1. I seem to remember also beating Burnley 3-1 for some trophy.
Thanks for the encouragement Sammy. I see you have detractors of your own but you battle on regardless and I shall follow your example.
Spurs have been my team for over 50 years and whatever happens, I'll always be backing them, regardless of Levy, Poch, Mourinho, bad patches etc. Let's hope they pull their collective fingers out tomorrow and spank Belgrade. Unfortunately I'm working all day so I shall miss it but I'm counting on the lads pride to carry them through.

Poch the fullback whisperer... he's great for youth....

Exactly mate, makes me laugh those trying to determine the level of someone’s support based on them being angry at how shit we are.

Makes no sense.
All Spurs fans should be raging right now, whether it’s at Levy, Poch or the players doesn’t matter, but apathy isn’t support.

It just means they don’t care enough to get upset.

When Poch, Levy and Kane are no longer here, we will be.
The only thing I hero worship is the badge.

By the way, this trophy chatter is pointless.

As the great man has said, they're only good for ego's anyway.
He's right. I'd far prefer to watch really good football even if the results aren't always in our favour than watch the present team lumbering around like a bunch of middle aged men and maybe sniffing a far off trophy.

Squealing shitgoblin , Squealing shitgoblin , Squealing shitgoblin , Squealing shitgoblin , Squealing shitgoblin , Squealing shitgoblin !

You're so full of hot air and shit that if you get hiccups you could fertilise Yorkshire from the same spot

At my age, I might not be here either...😣

There you go. Good work.
Continuing annual profit while the football team continued to come up just short.
The 2 most barren decades in the clubs post war history coinciding with a balance sheet the envy of others.
But the most important thing to remember is what ENIC actually stands for.
How much is their initial paltry outlay now worth as an investment. And who's responsible for managing and repaying the incurred debt over the next 3 decades.
In short, who are the real winners in all of this?

Coming back to this John, I've been wasting my day digging into PL teams accounts.

On average, during our teams PL era, we've retained £24.5m on average in profit every season, Leicester have retained an average of £33.175m since they've been back in the PL.

Leicester City

30 June 2018 - £1.5m (PL)

30 June 2017 - £80.0m (PL)

30 June 2016 - £20.1m (PL)

30 June 2015 - £31.1m (PL)

What do you make of the fact that Leicester and their so called ambitious owners actually keep hold of more PL profit on average, year on year than Spurs do?

Lauding Leicester’s owners in one thread and cunting off Brendan Rodgers in another

A company hires a person to do a job.

Said person does job well for 3.5 years.

For the last 1.5 years the person does a poor job.

The person who hired him should be fired???

:dembele:
You keep getting involved with an argument not involving you & keep missing the point. They aren't saying he did well for 3.5 years.
I am making the point based on them saying poch has been shit for us & been a failure as he didn't win us any trophies. As well as them listing 101 reasons why poch is a crap manager.
So based on this logic, enic picked a crap manager who has performed shit & now they refuse to sack him.
You're probably best not replying to my posts as you jump in without knowing the whole picture.

Poch did bring some good style of football to White Hart Lane for a while..... but sadly no Silverware.....
the current players have peaked to his way of playing and can offer no more..... and so the cycle begins again
to try to build a team to entertain.... I believe Spurs can build on the style Poch brought so as to push forward
but unless Spurs are willing to spend the hundreds of millions it will need for them to win the top Silverware
which they wont and I dont blame them..... so lets just enjoy watching our team in a new stadium in the hope that we can do a Leicester........ C O Y S

A scapegoat. & then when the new manager takes over it will be all his fault.
When really under enic, If the new manager is here for 18 years & wins us a league cup then it's been a success. Roll on 2037!

Under ENIC we have been in FIVE cup finals, though. And been close enough in more than a few campaigns to have had a sustained title challenge.

Levy and ENIC haven’t supported the team as much as they could, that’s clear. And as an investment company, we know what their true motivation is. But let’s not pretend that we couldn’t have achieved more over the years.

There are multiple semi finals in that time that we lost, too. We’ve fallen short on the pitch as well, and that’s on the players and management.

5 cup finals in what is it 18 years or so that they've watched over us? At what stage do fans start to hold the players accountable for not having the nous to get it over the line? Under ENIC we've seen more European football than at any stage in our history but that'll get overlooked as well.
