Quite a stunning career really. A decade at Newcastle with just a premier league runners up & FA Cup runners up medal.

For someone that almost had a 1.0 scoring ratio in over 100 games at Blackburn!

I'd bet my left bollock that Gazzaniga has been done for a week (or more) and they're sitting on announcing him until Sanchez goes through first. He'll have been training though, which is why they're not showing us any footage right now. Players have been 'cleverly' edited out of training vids before but the third choice keepers tend to be in the shot a lot.

Oh well, if we sheepishly announce him just after announcing Sanchez tomorrow then we'll know I was right.

Well he's not training with them, if that's anything to go by. (Their other 3 first team keeps are seen, Forster, McCarthy, Taylor)

I doubt it. When you look at the situation in its entirety..

  • He apparently failed a medical in the January we tried to sign him
  • He has had injuries and visited a specialist in his first season at Celtic
  • No one has signed him, even with Brenda hinting at it constantly.


I just can't see it being likely that it's all a coincidence. It just seems to me like he's another Remy, where some clubs are willing to take a risk, but we aren't (which I wouldn't blame them for)
 
FC Porto's Rafa - a left back - is most likely going to Fulham on loan.

Porto would not loan a player like Rafa if they were not sure he'd have the space to develop. Does this mean Sessegnon could be out or is he playing LW at Fulham?
