I know enough to know that he will replace the best defender we have since Ledley because we can't meet his demands
If he won't sign a new contract there's not much we can do apart from get backups/ replacements in. Hopefully we give him what he wants and he can play out his peak years with us

85 appearances since he signed in 2013, hardly fucking outstanding for thirty million quid. I know his history of injuries, but he's unlikely to break into the current starting eleven anytime soon, i mean he's not even fit for this season yet.
The last time he played milk was 7d a pint and Peters & Lee were at number one one the pop charts....
If we end up getting Foyth and Sanchez I'd be absolutely delighted. Getting two guys in when one of our defenders only has two years left on his contract and the other is 30 is exactly the kind of forward thinking our club needs. I hope Toby stays a lot longer and fulfills his dreams with us, but the club always comes first and I would love to see these two clearly talented footballers at Spurs as I really like the classy way both seem to be with the ball at their feet. If it goes through like we all hope I honestly see it as the biggest statement signing we've made since I can remember. Van Der Vaart was a great buy as was Klinsmann but in Davinson we are getting a player who not only strengthens what I felt was the only part of the first 11 that needed strengthening prior to Walkers sale but someone some people feel will go all the way. a potential turning point for our club and a signing that should reassure all the players that they can achieve everything they want here as we continue to grow.
Let's tie this one up, get Foyth in to develop, a RB if we can find someone good enough for Pochs project (if he hasn't seen anyone he fancies I trust him to stick with Tripps) and continue scouring the globe for the finest youngsters in the world to slowly integrate into our philosophy and let Poch build his empire. Love it!

Alderweireld Vertonghen Sanchez Foyth for CB competition with Dier battling it out with Wanyama for that all important DM position, get Barkley to add a new dimension and compete with Dembele or push further up when needed to offer competition to Sonny, Eriksen and Alli and there you have a spine not many will get the better of. As for Harry, the bloke doesn't need competition, his competition comes from who's scoring goals for other teams and let's be hones, nobody in the world within our reach is going to give our golden boy a run for their money anytime soon.
