I don't like it. But he deserves a shit tonne of leeway for what he does on the pitch. People forgetting the bravery and will he shows week in week out.Mate, defend the player all you want, but you have to agree his timing stinks.

Are u justifying him talking to the Sun? Pull the other one.Maybe The Sun paid a nice amount and it helped soften the blow of the fact that as the best LB in the country he is paid half as much as a dozen shiter players in this league.
Or maybe he doesn't follow/care for the political side of things.
Bullshit. It's like these players don't know what they're getting into when they sign for us. The past two seasons we have competed for the title without these so called world class signings. I can bet you that's more than most of the players expected. But now it's mega signings or bust, when these players know that's not what the club, or Poch, is about.I'm not the only one who's been saying this but it's worth repeating. Because I think we are undeniably correct: we need signings that puff up the chests of our best players so they think "wow, look who I'm going to be playing with next season" or we will lose them. He who must not e named kept citing this as a reason for doing the unspeakable - not the money! If we lose Rose, our club only has itself to blame. This sucks.
Levy fucking will be thoughPoch won't be happy.
What on Earth are you on about? This is exactly like I said to you a few days ago about apparently being able to read the mind of other posters. It gets old.
Even in this Rose piece, he isn't necessarily angling for a move but rather talks in exasperation about our transfer policy.
I don't see how a player wouldn't do that unless they felt bloody strongly about what was going on.
When the players came out earlier in support of what we were doing in the transfer market, I remember at the time thinking "that's nice, but you were definitely told to say those things - regardless of whether you already thought it or not".
Do you think what Rose is saying is bullshit? Or are you playing the numbers game and treating it as 1/7 of what we should care about because of the ESPN interviews?
Spoiler: it sure as fuck won't be on 1/7 of the fanbase's mind tomorrow.
If that's an insinuation that Levy actively wants to sell Rose then I strongly disagree.Levy fucking will be though
Bravery? Seriously? He's doing his fucking job! You make it sound like he's doing the club a favour by putting in a bit of effort!I don't like it. But he deserves a shit tonne of leeway for what he does on the pitch. People forgetting the bravery and will he shows week in week out.
I did mention the other day that we can't expect to pay measely wages and expect our stars to stay when they can get more than double elsewhere, do you think they'll be happy on 60k when they see shit like lingard and lovren etc on 100k+ a week
Again I'll say Wages will always be our downfall, let's be realistic here, teams like Liverpool City Utd etc are not that far behind us and infact we are all around a similar level yet they pay their best players 150k+/week while we pay around 70-100k... It might be ok now but in no way is it sutainable for the future in keeping and attracting talent
Tottenham star Danny Rose adamant he knows his value and will ensure he ‘gets what I’m worth’I think we need to see exactly what he's said before stepping outside to find some rope, pitchforks & gallows. It's a sensational headline but let's see if these are his exact words. im sure he was talking about the need to strengthen the squad weeks ago. So he may just be repeating himself. But whatever he's said, talking openly to a journalist (& especially a sun one) is always likely to end in grief.
That said, im getting pissed off with modern football (just when Spurs are beginning to look the real deal- how spursy) & at the rate it's going a lot of people will turn their back on this monster. There are plenty of grass roots clubs who would be grateful for the £5 entrance fee. I'm seriously beginning to lose all faith in this huge business shit. It's fucking football. It should be a group of like minded folk cheering on their players- their club. Instead of this cash generating snake that's about to consume itself from the tail upwards. It's getting fucking horrible. I just hope Rose's comments have been misquoted.
Sammy l love you but l think you are having a breakdown in a nice way.Mind reading? You just fucking called it propaganda ffs.
I'm saying that if 6 players publically support the regime and one publicly slates it, I don't automatically assume the regime is the issue.
The fanbase? The FANBASE?!
Hahaha you think I give a fuck about entitle Spurs fans? To be fair, I'd say most will think Rose is a cunt anyway
Serious question......what's bigger to you?Levy fucking will be though
Yes, mind reading in the sense that I am 'choosing' to dismiss those statements as lies/false.Mind reading? You just fucking called it propaganda ffs.

On his wage doing his job is not being the best LB in the league. He's exceeding his job by far.Bravery? Seriously? He's doing his fucking job! You make it sound like he's doing the club a favour by putting in a bit of effort!
Yep, IF he stands for that interview I hope he never plays for us again
To do this days before the season starts, the day after Poch says we will sign players.....he can fuck off
Yes, mind reading in the sense that I am 'choosing' to dismiss those statements as lies/false.
As I said to you just then, they might agree wholeheartedly with what they were saying - but I would also posit that they might not (because of the very nature of those interviews).
It's not difficult to see that in modern football a truly candid interview with a player almost never fucking happens. So forgive me for thinking that this interview with Rose might be an incredibly rare example of that.
Question: if we don't sign anyone between now and September, is Rose right?
I don't think that would be the case, but if that were to happen, what would your thoughts on it be?
