Agree.

Also worth mentioning that playing an academy product in your first team does boost that value too e.g. Townsend, Carroll & Caulker were testaments to that.

So it does go back to the fundamentals of giving minutes to a handful of players over and above shit players that we buy (N'jie, N'Koudo). I think that we would have given mins to Amos & Oakley-Booth this season were they not injured.

Yup, now the obvious player is Skipp - but if Poch didn't have a penchant for physically developed players he might have thought of Jamie Bowden (who appeared ion pre-season) or even Harvey White, both midfield players which is a position where we need bodies. There's also the likes of TJ Eyoma and Japhet Tanganga, both CB's who can play FB, who both appeared in pre-season, but can't see them getting many minutes if Foyth is to be given much playing time

Just realised that DerryLennon DerryLennon and the youth players are going to have a very busy run up to Christmas with 12 matches to fit in. Going to need the squads wisely and pray for no injuries !

Under 23s Fixtures 2018/2019 | Tottenham Hotspur
Matches - 23/11 (v Chelsea), 3/12 (v Wolfsburg), 7/12 (v Everton) 16/12 (v ManCity) 21/12 9v ManCity) and the Checkatrade match v Oxford in w/c 3/12

Under 18s Fixtures 2018/19 | Tottenham Hotspur
Matches - 24/11 (v Woolwich), 28/11 (v Inter Milan), 1/12 (v Leicester), 11/12 (v Barcelona), 17/12 (v Millwall), 22/12 (v Middleborougth).

Imagine some of the contrasts as well - the u18's playing Barcelona and a week later playing Millwall !

Phoenix Patterson v Portsmouth (wearing shirt no 66). Able to operate across all the midfield roles from DM to AM with a lot of ability/skill and hardworking - he seems to have come on a lot this season and if he keeps this up, could have a very decent future.

Surprised he wasn't given another call up for Scotland in this international break.

Wonder how long it'll be until Marcus Edwards gets the call from Cyprus.

We've had quite a few Cypriots come through our academy over the last few years haven't we? Townsend, Edwards, Roles, Georgiou,

There's a Greek Cypriot football club/academy where Spurs have links possibly through one of the youth coaches, I think we had the Chairman's son at Spurs until he was about 15 or 16 so not sure the number of Cypriot players we have had is a coincidence, except maybe Townsend who was the first

This boy needs a loan now before he becomes the next player to stagnate in our U23s. He should be somewhere like Wycombe - Ainsworth would look after him and not rush him.

Wouldn't be surprise if one of those games fell foul to the cold weather mate.
