Well, we’ve seriously dug him out in so many games, and rightly so, but if this in some way is a turning point for him and he can put in performances like he did today, then we’ve got a player and he deserves real credit. Well done Emerson, top man.
He's been doing that for the last few games, so it may just be that that corner is already turned.

Nice to have him being given credit by someone who didn't before, rather than clamming up and waiting for the next below par performance to pile on.

Fair play Bruv

Why aren’t Man City starting KDB?

It is utterly weird at this point. They’re much better with him on the pitch.
The main way haaland scored too. Fitness, age & injuries I think. Over rely on him. Gundagon, silva etc all not themselves this season & wanting to go. Foden fallen out with pep like cancelo. In a mess really.

Just rewatched a lot of the game with emotion taken out of it.

The title is there for Woolwich or possibly united, Man city look a shell of their former selves. It was easy to defend against, by blocking off through balls to haaland and crowding him out on crosses they had nothing except marhez. Back 3 were very compact and solid

Grelish was polly pocketed by Emerson, but honestly he has little end product, skips past a player and then falls over
Debruyne looked heavy and slow.
That's another club that needs a painful rebuild .

Holjberg and bentancur were magnificent on the press, as was son and kulu.
Those 2 rolled back to last season, impossible to deal with. So much for sons legs having gone.

Just a shame we weren't in this shape against Woolwich .
With everyone fit again I think we can do what we did last season and go on a real run of results

A good team performance.

Royal had one of his better games, good to have strong competition I guess! Thought Kulu made several wayward passes but still put a shift in. PEH worked his socks off and nice to see Harry break the club record!

COYS!
