Most probably the Watford game - opening match of the '85/86 season.
Really hard to tell but I think it has to be the case. The West Stand on the High Road was completed and opened for 1909 and looked this this at the time.....Where do you reckon that is?
In my mind,that's Paxton road.
Yeah, mine as well.Don't know why, just feels like it.Really hard to tell but I think it has to be the case. The West Stand on the High Road was completed and opened for 1909 and looked this this at the time.....
This leaves Paxton, Park Lane or Worster Ave (East Stnd) So looking at the East Stand it's fair to assume that it was still quite low and open, this is it from the inside in 1908...
My gut says pic taken on Paxton looking down Worster Ave (East Stand)???
Got to be the West Stand.Where do you reckon that is?
In my mind,that's Paxton road.
Wasn't there always a road going from middle of the west stand out to the high road though? Would have gone up the pub(white hart?rudolfs).Got to be the West Stand.
Paxton wasn't covered at that time.
Not always - bearing in mind it was a nursery beforehand.Wasn't there always a road going from middle of the west stand out to the high road though? Would have gone up the pub(white hart?rudolfs).
