And the football was very watchable. Which is a bigger beef of mine than trophies (lack of).Talking withNutter-Naylor yesterday, we both admitted to watching old games and reminiscing more and more. Also, someone sent me a brief summary of our last season at The Lane, brought a lump to my throat. How that team didn't win something will remain a mystery to me.
I still watch recordings of my first two seasons at WHL - 1989-1991. Chaotic at times but so much fun on and off the field. I feel sorry for youngsters only having the sanitised global shit show of today. That’s if they can afford to go at all.
