Agreed. Would be so easy for the club to avoid this though, given that these leaks usually happen after our rivals have launched their kits for the new season.

Hmm. If they've tapped into the most viable time, it would seem that 99% of football clubs are missing out on this particular trick (which would be very surprising).
Perhaps it's a spurs-specific algorithm that factors in the refractory period to allow heartbreak from the end of the season to subside.
I've often found that there's items on the Nike, Kitbag and Sports Direct websites that you can't buy direct from Spurs, or they have things available a while before Spurs start selling them

Problem is... ANY time they release a kit that's simple in design, you're always gonna get some plastic Online Zig-Zag / Chevron / Stars'n'Stripes / Luminous Piss stripe Warrior who will declare it "boring & lazy"

There were some images floating around recently of a new Nike version of that Hummel shirt for this season I think but not true obviously. Had that Hummel shirt back in the day. Loved it.

I think the pin stripes and chevrons didn’t overpower the look of the white shirt, whereas navy blocking or piss streaks look ridiculous.
Where is that ? Those jerseys are on EBay just now for £25, whether they are genuine or not....
