He seems to be playing himself into contention for a spot at the Euro's at this rate.
Came here to post this. Honestly, some of England's central defensive options can be a tad ropey and we've seen Southgate play a back three before (weirdly, with Walker at RCB) which would be great for Tanganga.

I mean, who would he need to overtake? Stones? Would definitely say he's in with a shout there. To be honest, I'd pick him over Maguire but there's zero chance of that happening barring injuries.

Another impressive display today, the fact he can play at FB or CB means he is a huge asset to the squad.
If he could play at DM also his value to the squad would be priceless 😜

No, not friendlys no, they are not mens competitive games, they are, as their called, friendlys

Ronaldo is pretty competitive so don't see him being a walkover in any game, but agree games in tournaments such as PL and CL will be on a different level - but preseason friendlies are a decent test to show if a youngster will sink or swim.

This is one of the silver linings of a season that doesn't go according to plan. When the team stops performing, you start looking for solutions and sometimes come across a player in the squad that might have not been given too many opportunities otherwise.

He is a good all round player, strong, quick and with a very good defensive brain. Also not a bad footballer, he can pass pretty well. Bit of a gem find.

Difference between him and Foyth is that Foyth will play brilliant for 89 mins then do something silly, Tanganga has that bit more maturity.

How about bumping him to the 1st team profiles on the OS?
Excellent today.
I see him as Aurier's successor in the long run with Sessegnon swapping the current Aurier role.

Don't even think about it .... England wear out enough off our players as it is ... the lad needs another 18 months in a Spurs shirt before he gets dragged into the England set-up. He's waited for his opportunity at Spurs and is now grabbing it with both hands, it won't hurt him to wait a while for England ... let him take over from Jan at CB and cement himself there, only then should England come calling.
