£22m for Lucas Moura seems cheaper than £40m for Malco(l)m (who a few weeks ago everyone was doing a Danny Rose google search). Moura also a proven international and plays for PSG. No brainer surely.

Malcom is actually more productive though, and at 20 is only going to get better. Moura is more or less the finished article. So, it's a case of paying less for a short-term option or a bit more for a long-term solution with a potential big upside.

We’ve had enough young wingers that we’ve taken a punt on, I’m looking at N’Jie and N’Koudou, Malcom would be a more expensive one of those. Moura is 25 hardly old and is at least a seasoned international and has been playing for the best team in France. We need experience not another gamble. Surely giving someone like Edwards a go would save us from a Malcom signing?
