I understand Hoddle is a Tottenham man, he can't fail to have an affinity with us, but what I'm saying is that it is rarely conveyed - not like Archibald, Hazard, Ardiles, Roberts - and maybe its because they haven't had the same career as him post Spurs, aren't in the limelight as much - but the likes of Carragher (all the scousers), neville, Souness, Lineker all talk fondly and in the main positively and passionately about their club. You can always tell their allegiance. I guess I'm looking for him to be a bit more partisan and less impartial. Maybe he's just not that type of guy - he was very calm and collected on the pitch.
Agree totally about Jamie Redknapp. Fuck that guy. I don't even really acknowledge him as a Spurs player. I always thought he was overated and we got him when he was fucked from injury.
