Just watched the game on Spursplay...
First goal came from a good run by Santiago who then set up Lankshear for a shot and Santiago scored the rebound. First half passed Scarlett by a bit but we were in control. Their goal came from a good break just after half time, hard to really blame anyone for it, was just a good break. Villa had a bit more of the ball 2nd half. We should have had a 2nd from a Santiago corner that Lankshear flicked on and Donley fumbled it in to the keeper's arms from a yard out. Santiago constantly caused problems playing right on the touchline and had the beating of his man on the outside, created a couple of good chances for Lankshear in the air.
2nd goal came after Hall broke the lines through the middle before laying it wide for JSB who played a perfect ball in to Donley to score a first time finish. Santiago made another chance for himself after skinning the Villa right back with a great bit of skill but hit the shot at the keeper. Soonsup-Bell also had a chance to get one after a brilliant pass from Donley but went just wide.
Did get a 3rd late on after Santiago wins the ball from a high press and Lankshear tucked home.
Yago Santiago MOTM for me, completely dominated the left side match up against Triston Rowe, who's an England u18 international RB. Knew when to take on his man, knew when to recycle the play, excellent delivery and didn't stop running. Quality.
