Well yeah it could be worse. But because we’ve cocked up so many home games against lower teams we are going to have to notch a couple of away wins. There just aren’t enough “easy” games left for us to get away with not beating anyone decent away from home.
We struggle with easy games. We need teams to come out and have a go . Most of them will, prob not West Ham.

villa like us have to play each offcthr top three…….
However we have to play all of the bottom four ( three of which are home games) and they don’t.
Surely it’s advantage Tottenham?

I think on paper we have the more favourable fixtures, sure.

Villa play 7 of the current top 10. Four of those being away from home (City, Woolwich, West Ham and Brighton) . And the other fixtures are teams in 11th, 13th, 14th and 15th, however 3 of those four games are at home.

Whilst we play 6 of the current top 10. 3 of which are away from home (Liverpool, Newcastle and West Ham) and outside of Fulham, who are currently 12th, like you say we play the current bottom four. (until Chelsea is rescheduled)

But if they win at the weekend, 8 points will be too hard for us to overcome in my view.

5th place CL spot is hotting up.

I’m 100% going to be supporting Freiburg when they visit London. Expect West Ham to win that match though.

Brighton had a bit of a shocker. Maybe they win at the Amex for a bit of pride.

Expect city, Liverpool and woolwich to go quite far in their respective competitions so this little lead we are giving to the Germans and Italians makes the co-efficient race quite interesting.
