There were times (few and far between) when we’d see the oppo have the ball in midfield, he’d tackle, shake his hips a few times and be past three of theirs in a flash. Looked pure Dembele.

I feel that whilst Dembele was very gifted, his physicality was what made the difference . He could go around people or through them.

His application obviously more effective, but in terms of the range of stuff he could do with a football, Tanguy has way more bows to his string, in spite of how things turned out.

It was obvious why we bought Tanguy and Lo Celso, just like it was obvious why we bought, Rebrov, Postiga and others.

TG's ability is prolific.....particularly after munching an egg and greasy bacon banjo.
