Do we have the players to play this aggressive pressing kind of way......yes it can work if you have a bunch of unknown Aussies in the A league, or Japanese in the J League, or Scottish players in the SPL, but PL footballers are so pampered, so rich and very comfortable that it won't take long for them to get sick of the hard work and running. It will be very interesting to see how the players react to Angeball

Well, they're also PL standard so hard work should be second nature to most of them...and those that can't hack it get the road...

Pre season training.

Ndombele, 4 minutes in....collapses into a heap. Don't worry, he got back up eventually.

Hojbjerg, Lo celso, dier, Spence, perisic trained separately with mason. Ange took session with the rest.

Solomon and Udogie looked class.

Richalison can't hit a barn door!

Kane, pure class.

Reggie looked pretty sharp and part of the group.

Harvey White being used as a 'stand in' left back. Useful to have versatile players like that - trained as an AM until age 16 now a CM with magic left leg and possibly best set piece taker.

Are you there ?

If you are thanks for the update

The focus of the training was moving the ball quickly. 2 touches. Pass and move. When Ange blew his whistle, they then quickly broke into attack.

Interesting seeing a keeper involved in something like this. Think quite a lot of the previous coaches would have had all the keepers doing separate outside training and then joining in for matches

Not interesting seeing a keeper involved in something like this because it does happen occasionally. No longer think quite a lot of the previous coaches would have had all the keepers doing separate outside training and then joining in for matches because I was wrong about that

Absolute rubbish mate. Man City work harder than anyone and as you can see if you marry that with ability and buying into a way of playing you win things. Our players will work. If anyone doesn’t and that includes our so called big names then they won’t play. I don’t buy into that pampered premier league players. 99% of players like to work hard and make it difficult for their opponents. Wait to you see the difference in players that you thought were shit, lazy or pampered when they play in a team that demands work and allowed to show how good they are when they have the ball.
