Excited Lets Go GIF

(Apologies if there is already a thread. I did look but couldn't find one)

Will be interesting to see who goes out of the deadwood and who goes out of the ones that think they are safe because there’s a few who think they are safe don’t know what’s coming with Ange. He’ll rid the place of lazy bastards who don’t want to do the hard work and play the way he wants to play. That goes for everybody in that dressing room just now. It won’t matter to him who they are or what they’ve done. This is the guy we didn’t want but exactly the type we need just now.

Think that's what has me so excited - it's the hope that Ange is gonna shake things up properly.

He seems no nonsense. Seems to reward hard work and call out laziness.

Should be a refreshing change even when watching even the pre-season games.

Thought I'd stop hoping someone else would do the heavy lifting and googled the current plan:

18 July v West Ham (Perth)
23 July v Leicester (Bangkok)
26 July v Roma (Singapore)
Why do we need to travel so far around the world to play these matches, seems like a lot of effort for nothing when West Ham are just down the road, Leicester a relatively short drive, and Roma a fairly quick flight?

We are pleased to confirm that our Under-21s will return to Enfield Town for the traditional pre-season friendly between the sides next month.

This year’s match will take place on Tuesday 18 July, kick-off 7.30pm at Queen Elizabeth II Stadium.

Enfield Town’s home ground is located just a stone’s throw from our Training Centre and has played host to this popular and well-attended fixture every year since 2018.

Tickets will be available at the turnstiles on the night, or online in advance via Enfield Town FC’s website.

Players involved in international games in June will be 'late' back for the start of preseason which is expected to start on 1 July. Those players are :
Oliver Skipp (E u21), Perisic (Croatia), Romero (Argentina), Lo Celso (Argentina), Son (south Korea), Kulusevski (Sweden), Davies (Wales), Rodon (Wales), Hojbjerg (Denmark), Kane (England), Parrott (R of Ireland), Sanchez (Columbia), Sarrr (Senegal), Richarlison (Brazil), Udogie (Italy u21's)

So players who should be back for start of pre-season on 1 July should include :

GK - Foster, Auston, Whiteman (Lloris ?)
CB's - Dier, Tanganga
FB's - Royal, Spence, Sessegnon, Reguilon, Porro
CM's - Bissouma, White, Winks, Ndombele (Bentancur assumed injured)
Forwards - Gil

I'd expect a few u21's to join the first team group, certainly until players come back after a 3 week holiday break after internationals. Players who might join up might include :

CB's - Dorrington, Paskotsi and Sayers
Midfield - Devine, Craig, Abbott, Kyerematen
Forwards - Scarlett, Donley, Lankshear and maybe Moore
