Yep I was saying the sane thing. Just develop the younger players including harvey and Alfie. We will never if they are any good if they get no gane time. His fixation with5 defenders means we have nearly 5 or 6 on the bench. So the young players never get a chance. Also are there any defenders in the U21s?

Blame ENIC all you want but what ya gonna do with a spurs side that is absolutely spineless.? Embarrassing on so many levels. The funny thing is that they go home at night on their 100k weekly wages and could care absolutely less. That’s this spurs squad in a nutshell really. Sadly that Tottenham stadium will be sold out for their next fixture and it won’t change a bit.
Putting the obvious limitations of some of the players aside, I don't get how out defense has regressed so much compared with the end of last season. When we needed to defend then, they all dropped into a formation that even a non technical supporter like me could clearly see. It wasn't gaff proof but it was more effective than now. The other thing is just how nervous Loris and the defenders now are. It's like every decision takes a split second longer than it should, while they second guess themselves.
I'd put a lot of this aspect on Conte, So much of this is a confidence game and lately he's been undermining rather than building it.
