Yes, we just about beat the eighth best team in Germany. By a single goal, at home, against ten men. We conceeded late on and almost threw away points that twenty minutes earlier had looked comfortable. glad you enjoyed it though mate.

Come on, we were dominant and a win by 3 or 4 goals wouldn't have flattered us.

They threw a lot of people forward but should've conceded either from a pen or the Kane cross. Fine margins and all that.

I did enjoy the game, first one in a while that I have actually.

A good performance all round but let's be honest, Emerson must have incriminating photos of Conte. Understand resting Doherty ahead of Saturday but surely now Spence is the next best thing. Fuck, even the physio at RWB would be an upgrade.

Kane overdoes the hollywood stuff. Just smash penalty in and not be too precise. Sanchez and royal need to leave club by next summer. Gave away 2nd goal and was amateurish. Diabolical touches as well. Rather win group.

Emerson Royal should be nowhere near Champions League Football. Everyone realizes it except for dumdum Antonio
Mistake near the end aside, he had a very good game.

Great pass in to Kane for the equaliser, but no one's mentioning it. Or the great cross for Romero that nearly made it 4-1 at the end of the first half. Or the tons of other things he did really well.

Up til the red thought we were actually very good today. Looked fluid and dangerous going forward. By far the best son has played since last season, forgetting the goals but his overall play was much improved from what we’ve been seeing from him this season.

We played very well aside from the opening 10 and shitting ourselves at the end.

Probably win comfortably if we didn't have the handicap that is Emerson Royal.

Way back in Euro 96 the ex-Madrid legend Michel was a pundit. He was excellent, had a few insights that have stuck with me for 26 years.

The pertinent one here is that late, skied penalties are a result of tiredness. Players over-compensate, try to hard and end up hoofing it.

Which would also explain the over-hit cross to Gil a minute or so later.
And, is why if he’d taken Kane off instead of Richarlison, pretty sure we’d have ended 5-1 or so.

Gil for Kane shoulda happened, IMO. He’s obviously showing in training.
