Not really.
A newly employed, highly paid manager is not likely to undermine his employer by claiming he's unhappy less than 3 months into his contract, is he?

Whereas giving his opinion on Son or Moura's best playing position is not actually criticising anyone, is it?

I'm surprised you can't see the difference mate.
I agree. It’s unlikely Jose is going to do that. It’s as unlikely as Levy bending over and giving him £15m a year in a blaze of publicity, to then turn round and tell him to piss off when Jose asks for £25m for William J.

He’s taken Jose on to male us successful and isn’t going to deny him the tools to do it. This is all pretty simple stuff.

Picking and choosing, as always.

I'm still waiting for the actual quote where he says he's not happy or the one where he says he is frustrated at not getting a striker

Oh that's right..... There isn't one.

There's some great mind readers on here
Answer my question.
How is giving his opinion on Sons and Moura's playing position comparable to claiming outright he's unhappy with his squad just 3 months into his contract.

It's not, and you know it.

You're just trying too hard to get some approval at my expense.

I'm surprised that you, of all people, would resort to this sort of stuff matey.

Because you only believe what he says when it backs op your opinion and disregard everything he says that doesn't.
Surely you can admit that.

Some people on here have claimed that he clearly wanted that Jose fella.
There's not one quote from him to support that assumption.
The logic is JM is friends with his agent so JM MUST of wanted him.

Laughable.

Was in the papers too. Spanish ones. They’re the best kind.

Son has started 85 games and scored 39 goals assisting 16 times, he may not be a striker in the mould of Harry but he can play as a centre forward. If you really believe absolutely everything any football manager says, let alone Jose, your a fucking idiot. Should we have a back up to Kane absolutely, will it be easy to find one reasonably priced that scores regularly and is willing to sit on the bench absolutely not, open your fucking eyes.
Much better CF than Lucas .

Let me clarify, SpiderSpurs SpiderSpurs ,im a socialist and a remainer.

Now, instead of running away again, are you putting your money where your big mouth is and taking me up on my £100 charity bet offer.
In the same way I put my money down and took yours.

If your'e backing down, thats fine, but at least quit being a coward and have the balls to say so.

If you don't reply this time, I'll assume you're a quitter and have indeed backed down
Good for you mate! I'm of the same political opinions. And I don't quite see where politics fits in to this thread. Interesting though it may be.

How do we build a constantly competitive team with a stadium that doesn’t allow us the revenue of out competitors? Where does the money come from?
ENIC invests some of their profits.
The way we're playing coupled with the ridiculously high ticket prices are going to affect the numbers imo
This stadium may end up as a big white elephant
I'm not stating this as a fact. Just a personal opinion. And it's worrying to me.

I don't think Enic invest any of their profits in Spurs. The same way as they don't take any of Spurs profits
The aim is for us to be self sustainable without having any debts.

Some people think it's a sin that Enic don't invest their money in Spurs and at the same time they (Enic) make a profit outside of Spurs.
It's like saying Amstrad couldn't make a profit when Sugar was in charge.

Your a right cock nibbler mate.... BECAUSE WE HAVE SPENT OVER A BILLION POUNDS ON A NEW TRAINING GROUND AND STADIUM, do you know how many zeros that is?
Of course I do mate, but athletico built a new stadium and did not do it whilst completely neglecting the first team squad...this is football and playing and winning is more important than a building..imo

Not that I disagree with your point overall, but Wanda Metropolitano cost £800m less than NWHL. It's not really a comparison.

The land around the Wanda was nothing price wise compared to us.... it also had omen of its main stands already built from an athletic tournament previously I believe, the Directors stand where the rest of the stadium was built around it.

Yes and the rest of the stadium is rather basic, or at least that is my understanding based on what Spurs supporters said after the CL final.

We have a squad worth 900m would you rather spend like West Ham and have a squad worth 370m .... anyone can spunk away millions on shit players ... is that what you want?

If you want to support ageing over priced wankers then follow one of the teams you listed ... it's your choice.
Calm down, it's just my opinion.
But our squad is not worth 900 million, and no fuck west spam. But because they have a shit squad what has that got to do with us settling for second best. Too many people think we have had a pretty decent run over the past 4-5 seasons and so we should not expect more or be complaining about this period in which we are shite..
Well I thought as u said we are not west spam so why should we settle like those lot do...apparently we are a big club with actual ambition, apparently.
Also we have bought lots of shit players, way too many to list.

We’ve got Kane and Son.

I’d much rather have those two than Costa and Morata. And who would AM have if both those got injured? Thaw out Nando Torres? How do Bournemouth get on without King and Wilson? How many players do you want for each position?

Are Chelsea’s three strikers any better than our two? Would you be thinking now “well, Kane and Son are out, but at least we’ve got Batshuayi to slip right in and score a skip full.”?

Not buying it. Sorry.
Fair enough. But son is really not kanes back up is he.
Yes he can do a job up front, a pretty good job tbh but he is not a striker.
Should we not have another striker then, having too many good players is not a bad thing. We need to start thikinglike these so called super clubs if we are ever going to catch and compete properly with them, if not we are always going g t be buying players that are at least a level down from those clubs, which means they always have better players and squads and we just stay about making up numbers. I would love to be consistantly sticking it to these clubs, upsetting them regularly. We have no Devine right, but if you don't aim for the top you can never get there.

Athletico play in a 2 team league, their stadium won’t be making anywhere near what ours will, and they have recent history of winning in their own league. We have 3-4 other clubs in our league with more resources than we did/do.

Honestly do u not see this? I hate being a cunt but these points are as clear as day in my eyes. Do you think we are anywhere close to United, Liverpool, the scum, or Chelsea in modern day stature? The stadium was totally needed in order to compete we simply weren’t making the money of others either match day or comertially.

I remember the days of Sinton, Fox, Iversen I have never seen our current opposition (top 5) at that level of shite.

Another thing that fucks me off royally is that some of our supporters don’t have any grasp of the massive task we had knocking down and rebuilding a stadium within 2 years, in what’s really a tiny site in one of the major capitals in the world. You simply have no idea what it took for our new stadium to be built. It would have been much cheaper, easier and faster to relocate, Levy choose in the end not to. I honestly believe there isn’t another chairman who would have done the same, see the scum and West Ham for proof before some cunt says there would be.

Again call me a cunt, disagree but please come up with some sort it coherent rebuttal to the argument I have here, I will applaud if you can and I will also admit to it.

Yes they play in a 2 team league, but in the past 20 years they have won that 2 team league even though the are not one of those 2 teams..
Yes there are more teams in our league, so should we just give up then ?
I remember those players too, and trust me man city hadshite players back then, worse than those lot..city were an absolute joke, even compared to Swinton and fox. Lol not so sure about iverson though

Iverson was loved but absolute shite. The only thing ENIC has done wrong is not being a bank roller, somthing they have always said they aren’t. Athletic won’t the league when the other leagues when Barca and Madrid were week, same as our Close season. Problem is we have another 2 remas to worry about.
