Commolli on this podcast this week lavishing praise on Levy. Seems they are still chums. I wouldn't be surprised if he still asks Commolli advice on players. It's from about 38 minutes in.

He's annoying to you because you're a levy fan, I'm not, as you know, but without bias he's not even close to being the most annoying person on here. He barely posts in off topic and he's not a brexiteer, or a Tory or a racist.

A newly employed, highly paid manager is not likely to undermine his employer by claiming he's unhappy less than 3 months into his contract, is he?

Whereas giving his opinion on Son or Moura's best playing position is not actually criticising anyone, is it?

I'm surprised you can't see the difference mate.

Still playing like shit though. Rather have a great team than a shiny new stadium. Imo, he did it back arseward. Make the team great. CL every year. Money pours into a great team. THEN build the stadium with increased profits. I can only conclude that in his mind, the stadium was more important than the team. Pointless to extrapolate any further because who knows what's going on in that bald dome. The one indisputable FACT is we have a fantastic stadium........but a mediocre squad at the moment. Draw whatever conclusions you want.

How do we build a constantly competitive team with a stadium that doesn’t allow us the revenue of out competitors? Where does the money come from?

Has anyone else ever done it either? Over the last ten premiership winners, did any of them sign someone in February for the summer? That would be a good indication of this being a good strategy or not.
