This is the biggest piece of 1+1=3 bullshit you could have thrown out. Many examples of players Poch wanted but was not able to get and two of them are labored with silverware at Pool. Yet Sissoko, a player Poch didn't want and didn't sanction. Another example. Poch didn't recruit nor want this move. Who did?

His 3 is closer than your 7 though Todd. Sissoko was a Pochettino signing. JJ confirmed it, and he loved Poch and was happy to have a pop at Levy (and he confirmed at the time, not when it became obvious it was a huge waste of money).

You don't think it was a coincidence that the last game Poch managed in prior to the signing was the one where Newcastle tonked us with Sissoko prominent, followed by his (bullshit) great Euros?

You really think Levy foists a 30m fee/25m wages 27yo on a manager - who's just made a big public show of his new role as manager (following on from his dinner with SAF who tells him his secretary of success is always to be in charge of transfers) at coincidentally the time our new head of recruitment analytics leaves the club?

Bullshit.

What happened was when Poch got him on the training ground he realised he'd fucked himself up the arse with his desire to become the new Fergy.

You got a fucking axe to grind because Poch doesn't use the kids that you think are so great. They are shit. Understand that. There is no example of a kid that we missed out on that should have come through with Poch. They are average shit. Winks was supposed to be great but he is average. KWP is supposed to be good but he is average and very weak. They are shit and we are not missing out on anything. Go grind your axe somewhere more fitting.

And yes, I've got a massive axe to grind with a manger who spends a whole autobiography telling us how much he believes in the promotion of youth, but then spent three years giving fucking shit players he's signed tens of millions off on, like Sissoko and Aurier thousands of minutes while we had academy players already here, who are at worst equally shit, but at best given the time his signings were given to develop, better, for fuck all fee and about a tenth of the wages.

And he was also starting for us until he Billy big bollock's his way to outta the club ie he was booted for his attitude. And I wouldn't say he 'thrived' though he did have a successful period and they would probably like to keep him were it not for his attitudinal issues. but they are more than happy to get him the fuck outta there.

Being a fuckwit billy big bollocks who's publicly called his previous manager a faggot who sucks off his start player didn't seem to prevent Poch signing Aurier - when we already had two RB's - and Poch has fessed up to talking to Aurier before we signed him - so we know this one's not on Levy.

And it's also strange how Poch's high billy big bollock integrity threshold didn't see him kick Rose out of the club, or even the team. Go fucking figure.

And best of all, Poch's high integrity bar didn't seem to stop him signing Danny Osvaldo a second time after he'd been kicked out of the club he signed him for last time, and then having to kick him out and write off their record transfer fee.

3 years in before Sissoko started playing. Poch played him all over before finding a spot for him. Are you suggesting the manager responsible for the transfer got a player that he had no idea how to use? And then took 3 seasons to integrate?

I'm just trying to figure out if you are swinging from DL's nutsack like a few others or if you are making shit up because you can't reconcile your sadness for the youth. Either way it's sad way for a grown man to behave.

More bullshit Todd, Sissoko played around 1500 minutes in his first season, more like 2000 his second season.

I'm suggesting Poch, could be a really good coach of players at times, but is a really poor judge and recruiter of players. But after the last 18 months of his time here does anyone doubt that? Sissoko as a CM in a team trying to play from the back? Dier as an 8? Moura as a CF? Son as a LWB in semi final? Townsend and Chadli instead of Dembele and Lamela in a final?

Sell eriksen and use that money to help bring a striker. Why is it so hard?

See I am so not interested in this debate. It however does not mean there is not truth on both sides. Loved Poch always will but love dont have to be blind, and his most obvious and damaging failure is stated above. He built a meritocracy on loyalty then he himself shat all over it. Kane's ECL selection, the book, indulging Rose. He was human and like the rest of us a bit of a hypocrite. Be really nice if we could move on though.
