Making realistic challenges for the titles (UK and European) and domestic trophies and not just settling for 3rd or 4th spot in order to ensure another CL season. Recognised as a major European power and feared by other Premier League teams. Admired and not ridiculed by rival fans and managed by somebody who also shares those views and aims.Where is that? In the top 4?
We cannot live on one CL final appearance for the next five seasons and neither should Poch's reputation as being one of the best managers out there rely on that single chance we had for it's survival.
So many on here seem scared that we could not entice someone who would improve on the situation, yes it's a leap of faith but in my view it's one that needs taking, and soon. Fear should not be the driving force to retain a manager when the squad is clearly sliding downhill.
I just cannot see Levy financially backing him because I honestly don't think he now regards Poch as the man to take the club further. Either that or Levy will show his true colours of having no genuine ambitions for Spurs and allow us to languish just short of success but also perhaps risking an implosion that would send the team below top six. If that is the case then Poch will stay and my dreams of seeing a trophy will fade into the mists of time.
