Club will make some £ on food & DRINK.By my calculations that's 3 Saturday home games at 3pm on the spin. (Palace, Saints, Watford). Incredible stuff.

Mate, teams playing on the Wednesday often play on the Sunday. Sure we've done it quite a few times ourselvesSo we've got Everton away at 4:30 on Sunday 3rd, then Red Star away on Wednesday 6th. Thanks Premier League/Sky, that's really fucking helpful. Weekend matches before Wednesday CL matches are almost NEVER played on the Sunday, always on the Saturday. There are 5 other matches that could have been played in that time slot instead of ours without screwing any team on scheduling...
owing to the rescheduling of Manchester United's home match against Aston Villa to Sunday 1 December, our trip to Old Trafford will not now take place on Tuesday 3 December and will be rescheduled for an alternative date during that week.
They mean Wednesday. This game was always going to be Wednesday and not Tuesday. They are in Kazakhstan on the 28th. They were always going to move the Villa game. Why in the world would you not do it before the season started. You didn't know they would be in Kazakhstan but you knew they were playing the 28th.
They should do more games on a Friday night to help the champions League teams like they seem to do abroadSo we've got Everton away at 4:30 on Sunday 3rd, then Red Star away on Wednesday 6th. I'm not keen on Friday night matches as a fan, but it certainly helps the team. There's just no incentive for Sky/BT/The Premier League to help teams like that though - getting maximum viewers for every match is far more important to them. They should do more games on a Friday night to help the champions League teams like they seem to do abroad
Just checked back through our past CL fixtures. In the 4 seasons where we've played in the CL (18/19, 17/18, 16/17, 10/11), we've had 12 group stages matches on Wednesdays. All 12 times, our PL match in the weekend before it was played on the Saturday. Never on the Sunday. I don't know about other PL teams, but to me that definitely shows an established pattern that they've decided to break now.Mate, teams playing on the Wednesday often play on the Sunday. Will be fun won't it :mourlmao:West Ham 8pm on a Friday...what could possibly go wrong?
