Are they not just playing every team once, plus Newcastle for a second time in that period? Hardly seems more taxing than what any other team would have to play.

Have you got the possible dates for Champions League games, as I tried to look on the website but couldn;t find them.
I know the final is in Istanbul on 31 May
:allitongue:
Book your plane ticket now, Mrs P, to avoid disappointment. Personally, I'm buying 10 flights for a hen do in Istanbul that weekend.

It's the sequence that's interesting. It may put pressure on them, as it's quite possible for results not to go their way in the first 12 weeks, with a bit of luck.

The end of the sequence should coincide with the appointment of a new manager too.

I propose another legend. How about Ryan Giggs? That should define their season.:dembelelol:

Thank fuck the scum away match has been moved to the Sunday... best manning a wedding on Sat 31st, was very concerned about the clash

Well they've left Palace at home as 3pm Sat 14th Sept, and Southampton home as 3 pm Sat 28th Sept at least. 5 out of first 7 moved though.

There's a 3pm game televised each week though, right? Even its not moved for TV I imagine Spurs are going to be on TV as nearly as much as Liverpool. To be fair we've been very close the past couple seasons. Manchester United is also being shown less, apparently.

But yes, I was being a bit hyperbolic.

Quite nice TV selections for once in my opinion. Glad not to have any of the early kick-off home games which always kills the atmosphere. And I'm actually living in Leicester next season so I'll probably be begging for a ticket nearer the time unless it goes down to 180 points!

By my calculations that's 3 Saturday home games at 3pm on the spin. (Palace, Saints, Watford). Incredible stuff.

You have an iconic picture as your avatar and one I have treasured for many years. I hated Bremner with a passion, he was like a rabid terrier up and down the pitch but met his match that day. A very young looking Terry Venables watching in the background too.
Mackay though hated the photo as it depicted him as a bully, which he most certainly wasn't. Hard but always fair. When we talk of Spurs legends then for me this man's name springs instantly to mind.
