The Premier League broadcast selection process for November has now been completed and two of our matches have been chosen for live television coverage.

Please take note of the revised fixture scheduling below.

Supporters should also note that, owing to the rescheduling of Manchester United's home match against Aston Villa to Sunday 1 December, our trip to Old Trafford will not now take place on Tuesday 3 December and will be rescheduled for an alternative date during that week. Details of the new date and kick-off time will be confirmed by the Premier League in an announcement on or around 11 October.

TV selections - November, 2019
- Everton (a) – now Sunday 3 November, kick-off 4.30pm - Sky Sports
- West Ham United (a) – remains Saturday 23 November, kick-off now 12.30pm - BT Sport

They mean Wednesday. This game was always going to be Wednesday and not Tuesday. They are in Kazakhstan on the 28th. They were always going to move the Villa game. Why in the world would you not do it before the season started. You didn't know they would be in Kazakhstan but you knew they were playing the 28th.

So we've got Everton away at 4:30 on Sunday 3rd, then Red Star away on Wednesday 6th. Thanks Premier League/Sky, that's really fucking helpful. Weekend matches before Wednesday CL matches are almost NEVER played on the Sunday, always on the Saturday. There are 5 other matches that could have been played in that time slot instead of ours without screwing any team on scheduling...

Mate, teams playing on the Wednesday often play on the Sunday. Sure we've done it quite a few times ourselves

Merseyside derby is on for Wednesday. This is Amazons gameweek isn't it... reckon they want United/Spurs and Liverpool/Everton on different nights if possible. Wouldn't be surprised if they try it on with Thursday and move Burnley to the Sunday... we have Bayern the following Wednesday.

They should do more games on a Friday night to help the champions League teams like they seem to do abroad

I'm not keen on Friday night matches as a fan, but it certainly helps the team. There's just no incentive for Sky/BT/The Premier League to help teams like that though - getting maximum viewers for every match is far more important to them.

Just checked back through our past CL fixtures. In the 4 seasons where we've played in the CL (18/19, 17/18, 16/17, 10/11), we've had 12 group stages matches on Wednesdays. All 12 times, our PL match in the weekend before it was played on the Saturday. Never on the Sunday. I don't know about other PL teams, but to me that definitely shows an established pattern that they've decided to break now.

In the knock-outs there have been 2 out of 6 where we've played Sun/Wed, but the scheduling for those is a bit more complex.

Premier League fixtures: Delay in deciding when each club will get winter break
By Simon Stone
BBC Sport

Liverpool are one of seven Premier League clubs currently in European competition
The Premier League has delayed deciding when each club gets its first winter break until after the Champions League and Europa League draws on 16 December.

Half of the 10 games scheduled for 8 February will be put back a week to give all 20 sides a weekend off.
The split and which games will be on TV was due to be confirmed by 13 December.
But the Premier League has pushed that deadline back to no later than 20 December to take into account when and where clubs are playing in Europe.

Under the new system, introduced in June 2018 for the 2019-20 season, matchweek 26 will be split in two, with 10 sides playing over the weekend of 7-10 February and the other 10 playing from 14-17 February.

Wolves and Manchester United have already reached the last 32 of the Europa League, with Woolwich almost certain to join them.

It means they will be playing the first leg of their matches on 20 February. United and Woolwich currently top their groups, which would mean them playing away first.

There will be two Champions League last-16 first-leg ties on 18 February, with a further two the night after. No more than one English team is likely to play on each individual match night.

Manchester City and Tottenham have already reached that stage. Holders Liverpool need at least a point against RB Salzburg in their final group match next week to get through, while Chelsea will also qualify if they beat Lille, although a draw may also be good enough.

The Europa League awaits both sides if they finish third in their group.
It is anticipated the Premier League will take into account the wishes of the competing clubs before deciding when each game is played.
Manchester United are due to visit Chelsea in the most eye-catching fixture. Leaders Liverpool are at Norwich, with second-placed Leicester playing Wolves at Molineux.

Our home fixture against Wolverhampton Wanderers has been moved from Saturday 29 February to Sunday 1 March owing to Wolves’ participation in the UEFA Europa League the preceding Thursday. This fixture has not been selected for live broadcast.
