I don't understand why a lot of people are worried about eriksen's form. Every season with us he has always started slowly and then come into top form around October November. I have no idea why this is, but I'm sure if you go back through threads this time last year you'll see similar comments around his form in the early games.
Last season it was the Bournemouth game when he came to life, prior to that he had been ineffectual. My short term memory only allows me to go back to last year.
It's amazing how Eriksen coming off and us winning/clean sheet etc results in dozens off topic Gibbsy stalking weirdness.

The character assassination of Gibbsy seems pretty OTT.

I'm pretty sure Eriksen started every clean sheet game last season except for the win over Sunderland. Now, that might just be a coincidence, since he's more of an attacking player than a defensive one, but it doesn't seem like him starting has made the team more likely to concede than with Son or Chadli starting.
Based on what? This current explosion of outrage is due to me wanting Janssen instead of Eriksen. Something I said in preseason. And all the while I've been respectful of Eriksen at how important he is Squad wise.
