Okay, so we're all feeling shit after what just happened, but it's been at least 25 minutes now, so get over it you bunch of soggy Weetabix's.

Look on the bright side - midweek cup football, 1882 and maybe even MICHEL FUCKING VORM!!!

So let's leave the meltdown until at least mid-October and enjoy our first step in our march to Wembley!

With the power of 1882 on our side we will win this. The lads always play well when the crowd(1882) are present and cheering. Moans, groans and boos don't do well for the confidents. Go figure
 
We need some cup runs this year. Have to perform well in all the competitions we're in. Starts with beating a quality championship side on Thursday.

Still, that'll be another of those tiresome cup competitions out of the way, so our poor, overworked lambs won't have extra games to play mid-week.
 
After a genuine and wholly serious prediction of 7-0 against West Brom I'm just going to wait and see what happens on the pitch. This and the next 2 league games could make a dark gloomy winter arrive far earlier than I ever thought it could or would. But I am optimistic that we'll respond well to the last fortnight.
 
The real bounce back will be next Saturday, get a positive result, as unlikely as it is at the Swamp and this season will turn around. The team will get us onside which is important. The only problem is it is going to be fucking difficult.
