I don't think it was a personality clash - AVB either didn't rate him or he didn't fit into a particular system. Just a thought.

Little concerned who's going to challenge Rose at left back. Surely we can't just have Rose for the starting spot without any competition? Maybe Naughton or Verts unless we pull out something out of the hat in the next 45 minutes.
