We have won the transfer window at least. It's a bit like silverware.
We've identified an organizational goal (trophies), hired leadership with clear mandate to achieve it and a track record that indicates the capability to do so (Mourinho), clearly demarcated a timeline (next couple of seasons), and marshaled the club's resources to give us an opportunity to maximize our chances within the timeframe.
Questions will always be unanswered about the Poch era, and we'll see where some of the risks we've taken leave us in two years time, but viewed narrowly within the present context it's a job very well done by Levy and Hitchen and the board.
