really balanced midfield DUDE

your fm hours really paying off

We literally destroyed the world champions with a midfield three of Eriksen, Winks and Dele you absolute dong.

Take your footballing cliche words such as "balanced" and take yourself elsewhere

Well, is not the Mourinho squad but what does he expect? Different results playing the same pussies every time? Playing a CB/RB on the left when we had like 3 better options for the position? Taking off our best player and keeping Moura and Lamela on the pitch? Playing ancient Vert in th CB ahead of Sanchez? That's a lot of mistakes for just one match, he needs to figure out what is obvious, these palyer needs a wake up call. By this time they are pretty confortável playing like shit and keeping their places without any effort.

Unfortunately, we had a team missing physicality (N'Dombele, Dier, Kane) against a very physical team. Not sure anyone except Aurier won many headers today - the personnel available aren't quite ready to play against those types of teams.

Oh, well - considering the injury list, that's okay.

We most definitely need a bigger striker - anyone missing Big Vinny yet? He'd have been all over that back line! (And he was cheap).

Tim Sherwood is probably the biggest A-hole I've had the displeasure of listening to. Defends the referee on the penalty shout in the first half and then comments how Vertogen's handball is a definite penalty. You can see his bitterness at getting the sack from Spurs. He sounded like a Watford Fan. Praising Deeny for diving for fouls.
Maybe Sherwood is an A-hole - but in this case he is right...changes and subs should have been brought earlier - especially Tanganga was awful on the left back...

The basic gameplan was fine, but hampered by not having a real number 9 to use as a focal point. Watford being allowed to beat us up by the ref did not help matters and Tanganga was done a disservice having to hunt Sarr.

Getting a striker in has to be the priority in the coming week. Preferably as late as Monday so he can play Norwich.

Agree, I think playing Moura as the CF, against this lot especially, was piss poor, and Tanganga at LB was equally piss poor.

I don't know why we don't just put Alli up there for now, at least we'd have some presence there. Sure, he'd bumble stuff away but I'd rather he bumbled stuff away on their D than everywhere else on the pitch like he does now, at least someone might still pick up some scraps and he's a better finisher than Moura - who snatches at everything - as well.

If find it pretty funny that a year ago, Kane was injured in January.

99% of people were against signing a striker.
A new RB would fix everything back then.

What’s changed for you people who laughed last January at those who wanted one

We had one more striker on the books. Man, you seem to have a brain like swiss cheese.
