Feels like the UCL final was a once in a lifetime chance and even then it was basically taken away from us 90 seconds in.

The club just is what it is, doesn’t matter who comes in and out of it. The highs and lows might be slightly different, but it’s the same low ceiling.
There is one common denominator though

Grim.

Positives: Hojbjerg, great player. Ndombele, outstanding effort levels and quality. Rodon was pretty good until he made an awful mistake for their third goal. Bergwijn played a decent game.

There are too many negatives to list. Very clear now that several players are just not up to scratch. Above all else, I really hope Harry has avoided serious injury to his ankle.

You can’t excuse the tactics today. But then you also cannot begin to understand how a Tottenham side at home managed just 3 shots on goal ( that I recall )

How a Tottenham side at home managed to be out run and out battled on every single 50/50.

How a Tottenham side can fail to press in pairs.

And how Lloris can play like he has been on the piss again.

in the end. It’s unprofessional. That’s it.

Carry on like this and we might even finish below West Ham.....

It can change though, it really can but we need leaders in the team and someone with a fire in their belly managing them who will give them the confidence they need.
We're short on quality and at least one more leader.

PEH is a beast but a lot of the bottlers are his senior in rank/age it's hard to take charge alone.

If he had an ally, someone like Bruno Fernandes or Ruben Dias who was on the same wavelength, things would be a lot better.

That's the issue, many of our players are unprofessional, they hide.

So, this time last year José was constantly bitching and moaning about how he didn’t have a striker to come in and replace the injured Kane. Tonight, Kane goes off injures at half time, and the leaves the striker on the bench for the duration.

Go figure.
