He’s been injured since day one - what the fuck are we doing with him?

From an article in the Guardian way back when we first signed him:

"Ndombele had another problem at Guingamp – a propensity to be slightly overweight – and it was cited among the reasons for the refusal to give him a senior deal. “People told me he could put on weight,” said Philippe Le Maire, who was on the club’s youth staff. “To put it in simple terms – he built his bottom half before the top.”"

Poch warned us that it would take a long time for him to reach the physical standard needed in the PL. He was not wrong about that and Mou has said similar things.

If Ndombele was injured they would have said that at the press conference surely? I guess he starts at Norwich.

Why would we need to have Tanganga on the bench if Ndombele was fit?

Hoping the midfield works. Winks is a good pivot, and Sissoko has the legs, but he’ll need to cover Aurier. Sessengon has the capability to cover left back.

Hoping Lo Celso gets at least 30 minutes today.

Winks and Sissoko has never worked but until we buy or Lo Celso and Ndombele are ready to start our options are awful.

We'll be looking to bypass the midfield and get the front 4 hitting quickly.

Makes our matches quite uncertain as we're simply looking to outscore the opposition. We won't be outplaying many teams with this lineup.

Lo celso and Ndombele are turning into car crashes of a transfer strategy.

Injuries are a bitch. They have both had big injury problems and our horrible form under Poch meant we couldn't afford to start experimenting with players of limited PL experience, we needed points on the board and both managers preferred players they knew more closely.

I hope the team can win this game well and then Lo Celso can get an opportunity to show something from the bench.

What a massive fucking failure the last summer transfer window has been. Break our transfer record twice and the players have 1322 minutes between. Pathetic
Club knew they couldn't get away with another summer of inactivity so they panicked and looks like they have outdone themselves this time
