You can't fluke a top 5 finish over a 38 game season. Don't be ridiculous.

I really don't understand the melt down. We're 3 games in. Why should we be aiming top 4? as has been pointed out many times, there are 5 teams in the league that SHOULD be finishing above us. We "should be aiming" for top 6. Just because you want top 4, doesnt mean its realistic.

A lot of people need to chill the fuck out. Just watch some football at the weekend and then move on. Forget about it for a week. All this pathetic babbling about chairman and transfer targets and other boring shit is pointless. Nothing any of us say makes any difference. Just enjoy it for what it is, fucking entertainment.
 
Can we just give a manager a chance for once? I like Poch, I like the way he sets up the team and I like the way he uses young players. After 3-4 seasons then we can judge his vision but if we keep changing the manager we are always going to be in transition.
Under Redknapp we were fortunate because we had Bale, Modric, King, Rafa and relatively weak top 4 competition. However as Redknapp has proven time and time again he does not have much in the way of stability and a long term vision. Now we have a manager (whose win percentage is better btw) with a clear long term vision. Give him a fucking chance.

In fairness, Rodgers has been there 3X longer than poch. Although, he's also a monumental bellend.

The same shit goes on at every club though. The sad part is, this season tottenham fans have become unbearable little bitches. The same fans that relentlessly go on about how bad gooners are, are now doing all the exact same shit they do. Fucking booing 2 games in and calling for the managers head? Thought we were better than that.

On saying all that though, Kane definitely needs some help upfront, Berahino would be a good start and Wanyama perhaps to reinforce your midfield.

Maybe I'm a bit 'glass half full' but I don't expect the next few seasons to be as bad as what some are suggesting. We aren't dining at the top table as we haven't got the resources to really compete, but we'll more than likely be 'best of the rest' as opposed to getting relegated within 3 years.

We finished 6 points off 4th last season and you want the manager sacked based on your prediction of what will happen this season?

If we change manager mid season we'll end up with another Sherwood scenario (or worse) and waste another season.

Let's just see what happens.........no point in really crystal ball gazing in football at all when you consider Kane's unbelievable rise last season.

QPR home, Everton home, Everton away, West Brom away, QPR away, Newcastle away

along with the 5 you said that's 11.

That's more than 25% of our premier league games. Not a handful mate.

So basically in his debut season Poch get us 5th with the youngest team in the league, with 25%+ of our games very good performances. That's something to be optimistic about.
 
Rondon to WBA, Shaquiri to Stoke, Cabaye to Palace... 3 players who would have improved our squad signed for low fees and manageable wages. There are many more.

I'd like to start off by saying I don't really care. Also that we're three games in.

I think we'll finish top 7 but hard to say where. 5th or 6th I'd say. Liverpool have spent a lot.

Why do you say that though, out of interest? We finished 5th under that "clown" last season?

If we actually finish what we have started this season then I will gladly admit I'm a fucking jellyfish, however I still feel the resurgence is shaky. If we end up outside the top four this season, with the premier league as it is I will have been totally correct.

As it is we have been given a great opportunity this year. If Levy has any balls it's time to fucking get em out and push on, we don't need loads we just need a decent back up for Kane and Dier and maybe another flair player to push eriksen a bit.

We don't need to spend loads but we need to spend.

The job is not yet done.

Ps. Stop being a massive cunt, you cunt xx ;)

After 4 months of good performances we can say that Dier is a good mid, not just a defender that is filling a role.

I'd much rather see a new defender come in than Dier get dropped into the defense for an extended run of matches.
