Daniel Levy, the Spurs' mastermind,
A shrewd businessman with a footballing mind,
He's the man behind the scenes,
Building a team that's the envy of many a dream.

He's the architect of the new stadium,
A feat of engineering that's beyond comparison,
A home for Spurs that's second to none,
A place where memories are made and legends are born.

He's a man who's not afraid to take a risk,
A dealmaker who knows how to seal the fix,
He's the one who brought Gareth Bale back,
A move that sent the fans into a frenzy and put the opposition on the back.

He's a tough negotiator, a man of steel,
A leader who knows how to seal the deal,
He's the one who's brought success to the Spurs,
A team that's strong, resilient, and endures.

So here's to Daniel Levy, the Spurs' king,
A man who's brought so much to Tottenham's ring,
A visionary who's made our dreams come true,
A legend who's forever in the hearts of Spurs fans, old and new. :levylol:

None of this prose comes close to you calling him a “bald beauty” though.

(Are you a bit blind btw??)

This thread must have shrunk by around 10 pages over the last couple of years with folk dipping back in to delete shit.

The mysterious shrinking thread :harrylol:

Levy outers = Flip floppers

Sure we will see the opinion polls change when the new manager is announced and a few signings made. The futures bright!!

You're aware that the mood has completely changed since this thread was made, yeah? The window that the first page is praising turned out to be a disaster, we ended up sacking Jose (a week before a cup final we didn't turn up for) and have since had numerous failed managers, still won nothing, still played shit football and generally been depressing.

Most people who aren't sappy little scyopathantic company men worshipping under the Cult of Levy have turned on the bald one already ... catch up buttercup.
Yeah of course I understand but why does it rattle you so much that there are posters on this forum who don't constantly slag them off or want them to vanish off the face of the earth. Why are we 'sappy little scyopathatic company men'?

Whilst you are going to get a few who dislike ENIC you're also going to get a few who don't mind ENIC. The trophy stuff is nonsense and has been orchestrated by the media to make the club look bad. I always accept that ENIC could have done certain things better but on the other hand as you very well know I don't blame them for every single failure in recent years.

They are going to appoint the next manager so let's hope they put their brains together and come up with a solution.

Because you keep trying to use stuff like not many people going out protesting or a thread praising Levy which is years old to try and paint a picture of a fanbase which isn’t Anti-ENIC.

The trophy stuff isn’t nonsense. It’s black and white facts.

I feel it’s only right he gets his own song!

Verse 1:
Daniel Levy, he's a master of the game
Transfers and money, he's got fortune and fame
With his bald head shining, he's a sight to see
The man with the plan, he's so good with money

Chorus:
Daniel Levy, oh he's so good
He's the transfer man, misunderstood
With his beautiful bald head, he's a force
The master of the game, he's the boss

Verse 2:
He's got a vision, and he knows what to do
He's got the skills, and he's got the crew
He's got the money, and he's got the power
He's the man in charge, at any hour

Chorus:
Daniel Levy, oh he's so good
He's the transfer man, misunderstood
With his beautiful bald head, he's a force
The master of the game, he's the boss

Bridge:
He's a legend, in the world of football
His tactics and strategies, they never fall
He's got the knowledge, and he's got the wit
Daniel Levy, he's a perfect fit

Chorus:
Daniel Levy, oh he's so good
He's the transfer man, misunderstood
With his beautiful bald head, he's a force
The master of the game, he's the boss

Outro:
So let's give a cheer, for the man with the plan
Daniel Levy, he's the transfer man
With his beautiful bald head, he's a sight to see
The master of the game, he's the king, and we agree.

Yeah fair enough, maybe I do harp on about that abit much but my point still stands that the protests are crap and that if people were to protest it might just cause abit of discontent to the board which might make them alter their strategy. Lets be honest, Levy etc hate it when there's bad news around the club as it ruins the reputation of the club which might look bad for potential future plans so better protests would maybe impact what happens in the future as no one is going to pay the amount of money required to buy them out plus they don't even want to sell the club anyway.

The trophy stuff is used as a stick to beat the club with. Most football clubs don't win trophies. Alot of fans favourite moments supporting a football club are not necessarily revolved around winning a trophy. There's a lot more to football than that.

If we won a couple of Carabao's and finished 10th and 8th in the meantime our fans would still complain and cite lack of ambition or whatever buzzword is trending around social media.

The media and rival fan narrative would be that Spurs aren't trying to be a CL team and their direct angst against the owners would be why are we not trying to get into the top 4 etc...

Football fans are just entirely driven by narratives and tribalism, they just hat being mocked and this causes angst amongst the fanbase, they'll just find another stick to beat the club with.

Fucking hell, you realise you can get top 4 and also win a few FA cups in the last 20 years, right? My god.

I don't think protests would achieve much but we'll agree to disagree.

Most clubs don't. Clubs who charge what we do, invest what we have & talk the way our owners do about being serious about competing at the top level do. Of course there's a lot more to football than trophies, I loved the Poch era. But when you don't win for this long, questions absolutely should be asked about why that is, because trophies build history.

In 20, 30, 40 more years, would you be content with no trophies? Do you not think a long time without winning anything hurts the image of the club? When we've got millions of fans who have never seen us win a thing then yes, we have a fucking problem..

Next week will be 4 years since the first game in the new stadium.

Anyone know what 4 years of no naming rights has cost the club and what the fucking problem actually sorting this really ambitious deal could be?

TBF, it's probably only up to £40M total. Stadium naming rights aren't really all that valuable, people have gotten way carried away thinking it's a golden goose.

TBF it's £100m for fuck all the club clearly could have used (Danny wants £250m over 10 years).

4 years with nothing sorted about this, but oh look, it's all part of the plan apparently because they're really happy with the exposure the club has with its name on its own fucking stadium.

Of course money-hungry ENIC think this is better than the additional revenue lost somehow...

Hmmmn...

I've discussed this before at length in the stadium thread. Naming rights is not just a cooling, but a freezing market. There have been numerous instances of companies buying out their contracts ahead of time. As far as marketing value goes, there basically is none.

SoFi paid a ton for the new Los Angeles Stadium, but they're banking on a payoff from numerous Super Bowls and at least 1 Olympics during the life of their deal - major global television events. Allegiant Air paid a good bit for the NFL stadium in Vegas - but, again, they're banking on using aligning themselves with the tourism industry in Vegas.

Some of the "rumoured" companies have been laughable. Google is a verb, they don't get any benefit from naming rights. Apple could buy an entire country if they wanted, why tarnish their "brand" by associating with anything they can't control? Amazon is ubiquitous already, no value. FedEx is struggling with shrinking market share because of Amazon and cannot justify the wasted capital.
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will host plenty of Beyonce concerts, but will it ever host a CL final? A WC final? It came too late for the Olympics. It's possible to host a Super Bowl if the NFL ever decided to.

If Levy wants to sell the naming rights for anything above £10M/yr, he needs to book the 3 events above first.

We could have had a four year deal completed by now, raised £10m in loan fees and £90m towards the F1 track and hotel.

Levy’s not always on top of his brief is he ?
