Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

This may sound really stupid, but I woke up with the realisation this morning that the season is ending today. I mean it's not as if I didn't know that yesterday. But this morning it all seems pretty final. What a season we have had. Regardless of how things go today I'm going to miss you 2012/13!

Let's go out on a high, fuck what the goons do.

another eloquent example of the difference between our manager and his predecessor, on where Spurs are going (Telegraph piece by Jonathan Liew)

Signing the 31-year-old Villa would require Levy to overcome his aversion to signing players with little resale value, but the purchase of Scott Parker two years ago when he was 30 shows that Levy’s principles are sometimes malleable. The club’s protracted pursuit of Brazil striker Leandro Damiao is now understood to be over.

I doubt anyone will be calling for AvB head.

Getting nervous now. Got woken up at 3am by a cat getting rodgered screaming its head off so that can only be a good sign ,black cats - raped.

A quiet start in both games. Spurs look sluggish and are struggling to create anything. News filters through from St James' Park that Newcastle have taken the lead and the buoyant crowd raise the team. Spurs press hard but struggle to put anything away. Half time, Spurs are 0-0, but Newcastle have found a second and are leading 2-0. Straight after half time Ben Arfa launches in a 30 yard thunderbastard and it's 3-0. Spurs are jubilant and can't believe that Woolwich are going to lose. They press on but chances aren't going in. Eventually, Bale stumbles over in the box and Spurs have a penalty! The crowd draws hushed breath as the one and only Manu "Bad Ade" Adebayor stumbles up like a gazelle on coke and launches the penalty into the stands. Fears of Spurs being unable to find an opening are made worse by news that Woolwich have one back. Then, finally! A beautiful lobbed through-ball from Tom Carroll is taken down by Bale and squared for a Lennon tap in. White Hart Lane goes mental. We think we're going to do this. We know we're going to do this. 10 minutes to go, and Woolwich get another back. Then another. It's 3-3. Ade skies a sitter but at this point it's not important, every Spurs fan is waiting on baited breath for news on what's happening on Tyneside. 5 minutes to go. 2 minutes to go. "There's been a goal at St James' Park!" screams Jeff Stelling, "Which way's it gone Merse?". Paul Merson is distraught. Papiss Cisse has poked home a late, late winner. White Hart Lane erupts. Sebastian Larsson scores. Fuck.

Nice one AVB. Really, really great season. To do that out of such a big transition is remarkable and we should be very pleased. Strengthen in the summer, hold onto Bale, get full seasons from Kaboul, Sandro and Lennon and we'll win the league next year :chicco:

But if you listen to Woolwich fans they'll tell you that all those points were accrued by limping past the line. Jammy cunts.

The were (and they are!).

Seen a few of their games recently and they simply havent performed. Last I saw was QPR, Walcott caught them napping (and took his goal well) and after that it was virtually all QPR who on balance deserved at least a draw, if not 3 points. Its one of many examples.

Some will say "A sign of a good team is getting points when they dont deserve them" but I say its more likely that deal with the devil paying off!

There is only so long you can grab points before your form catches up with you and your luck runs out.

I hear that Sir Stephen Hawking is getting the goalkeeping berth for Newcastle this weekend. Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder partnering the attack.

To save Pardew any further selection problems, Gary Glitter will be selecting the remainder of the Newcastle team.

@SpursOfficial: Andre: "What I'd love to see is a great environment again at White Hart Lane, like we’ve seen recently. That is a massive help to the team."
