I don’t think he has shown the potential to be a PL starter for a top club by next year.
He should start out 2nd string playing a lot in Europe and Cup games and if he shows he is good enough then great.
Really want to take it with a pinch of salt. I still think Tomiyasu can/will happen regardless of Romero to give us RB cover as well as being able to play at CB.
It's feeling a bit like those past transfer windows where we had an option on a first choice (who then went somewhere else and became world class) only to fuck it up or get gazumped by another club. Please just get it over the line ASAP, Paratici.

I've been watching some Fiorentina the last week to see Vlahovic, and watched both Atalanta games last season vs Fiorentina to see Romero. My big takeaway is that I think Dier is probably better than Milenkovic.

Damsgaard is more of a wide forward rather than a midfield schemer like Eriksen.
Calling Damsgaard, being a free-kick specialist may be a bit of an exaggeration - as he's yet to score from his team, Sampdoria, on free kicks and I haven't seen any free-kick goals for previous club, Nordsjælland , either. It was a heck of a goal vs England but that doesn't necessarily make him a free-kick specialist.

PEH can’t play there, atrocious and u saw his strengths as a box to box 8 in the Euros. Skipp perhaps, agree on the RB!
PEH looked a lot better playing up the pitch with Denmark not having the ball movement responsibilities he likely will have for us playing deep.
Could try Gio or Ndombele playing deep but it’s not the best position for them either.
If we start Skipp in that role then there is no depth/sub for him and PEH.
I know nothing about this kid. He could be a complete headbanger but he is exactly the kind of punt we stopped taking and should be. He is young aggressive fit with very obvious technical gifts.
