Providing there is still a way for season ticket holders to pass on tickets for little more than admin costs, I think this is a fantastic result. The ripping off of fans, especially often long term members, was intolerable. Skipped games rather than be ripped off and now I feel my sacrifice was worth it.

Can somebody explain the logic in giving a bonus loyalty point to any ST holder who puts their ticket up for sale on the Ticket Exchange? Doesn't seem very loyal to me?

Do not think there was much option. As most matches will go to General sale the choice for non season ticket supporters will be buying direct or from a season ticket holder. The general sale tickets will be in the less popular part of the ground and thus cheaper and if season ticket holder prices are too high they will not be sold. Agree good news and hopefully will be carried on when back at WHL. Season ticket holders will not be able to make a profit on their seats but can recoup funds if they cannot go.

Interesting that as well as the £7.50 'selling' fee you get a flat 1/19th the cost of your ST back (what ever Cat ticket it is) paid back monthly or as a credit to next seasons NWHL ST.

Not sure as yet what price the Club will sell them on for though. The relevant Category price i imagine.
I read it as the seller will get back 1/19th of the ST price and the buyer will pay category price plus £7.50, presumably to cover costs for running the system.

Dunno about Rest In Peace...
More like Rot in Hell!

StubHub, Fan TV, 'Super' Agents and Half & Half scarves have been the scourge of modern football...
Sadly, FanTV, Agents and Half/Half scarves don't seem to be going away any time soon... but at least this is a start!

I think if we start the season as we finish last one, the fans will keep flocking in (Wembley or not and regardless of prices).
However, if we don't start off with a bang or start to flag, then yes crowd numbers will drop.

Firstly, I've gotta say really well done to THST on this, as I'm sure without their pressure on the club regarding Stubhub they would never have abandoned them.

Secondly, I'll be interested to see how this works in practice. If, as was the case with Stubhub, seats can only be listed for resale once the stadium has already sold out then we might only see the system come into play for category A matches...

The way I understand it it, is you're free to list your ticket for sale for any game, regardless of take up, but you only get your 1/19th back if it sells? I.e, doesn't have to be a sell out before you can put it up for sale?

Good point. It is a bit odd. If you sell your ticket you get the LP for free (assuming it goes), if you attend it has cost you £35 or 1/19th of your ST.
Yeah, but you've seen the match?

Given the period of "transition" of moving to Wembley, I think it's a nice gesture of the club to "reward" fans who have decided to purchase/renew their ST and deal with being buggered about.

But maybe that's just me.

Guess if you're a seller you'd be pissed but as a buyer it's much fairer. I've got my season ticket today and probably won't attend every single match (missing the first two games as I'm abroad) so instead of forcing to sell at face value they should maybe have capped the max price per category. It just forces more people to tout the tickets themselves.
But will you actually get a ticket to tout?

I assumed we'd be issued with some sort of access card, which we'd use throughout the season as per what happened at WHL?

Also, if you're only buying a ST to sell them, you've got a ST for the wrong reasons tbh.

I understand it to mean you can list your ticket even if the game isn't sold out. Although a buyer will have to pay the £7.50 fee, as mentioned above, many will be happy to pay it to sit in a more sought after area.

An additional point, not 1 point for the match, an additional point presumably on top of the regular 1,3,5 system?! Maybe?

An additional point because ST holders don't get loyalty points for home league games (till now, it seems). We just got the lump of 35 points or whatever upon renewal.
