A squad with quite a few 'regular's missing, giving opportunities to others who have not played too much (eg Statham and Cirkin and most on the bench) or are still just returning from injury (like) Rodel Richards).

Spurs won 2-1 with goals from White (pen) in the first half and a Lyons Foster header and a Wolves goal in the last few minutes.

On to the next round of the u18 cup

Next up is Barcelona for Spurs u19's on Wednesday.

I guess that could be a reason why a few were rested against Wolves in PL u19 cup.

This is how we lined up against Inter Milan in the first match of the UEFA Youth League :

Spurs (4-2-3-1): Austin (c), Eyoma, Walcott, Binks, Brown; Skipp, Oakley-Boothe; Bennett, Roles (Richards 76), Maghoma (Patterson 76); Parrott.

Substitutes (not used): De Bie, Lyons-Foster, Bowden, White, A Shashoua.

We rested several players in the u18 match at the weekend, although a few played in the u23 match last Friday they should be well rested by the time we play Barca. Walcott was injured and may not be back.

The question is whether the likes of Oliver Skipp will be in the match day squad for the first team match against Barca

Knee injury rules Spurs midfielder Amos out for rest of season

Tottenham have been dealt another injury blow after young midfielder Luke Amos was ruled out for the remainder of the season with knee ligament damage.

Amos twisted his knee in the U-23 match against Blackburn last week and he will undergo surgery once the swelling has subsided

Poor lad, after a great loan last season played a big part in US pre-season with so many absentees due to World Cup, earning a place in the spurs squad and a short first team appearance - and now out for the season just when he got Poch's attention
