This is one thing that does my head in. Time and again I've been in the Bricklayers and the atmosphere has been immense, great singing, the Glory Glory CD going full belt featuring all those Chas n Dave classics. Then between the pub and the ground the crowd loses its voice, and it's absolute dullsville in the stadium.
Of course there are many reasons for this, but how I wish people would save their singing for the match if they can't manage both venues. Naturally I realise many, including myself, can do both. Maybe it's that we get diluted by all the non-singers when we enter the ground.

If my memory is good - Finished with la las and clapping?Anyone else remember You are my Tottenham my only Tottenham, you make me happy when skies are grey, you'll never know just how much I love you untill you've taken my Tottenham away!
There were songs about bobby sands - IRA and hunger strikes many years ago with Spurs in Irland.Remember singing this at Shamrock away. A lot of the songs mentioned in this thread are still sung, but never at WHL. Always in pubs or obscure away games
That's right mate , anyone else remember we all follow the tottenham over land and sea 'and Leicester !' Does anyone know why the Leicester bit is included in the song?If my memory is good - Finished with la las and clapping?
Remember singing that in Krakow, seems to have become less popular these days, but other clubs still sing it. I think the Leicester bit was because a lot of the motorways heading North (in particular the M1) used to say "to the North and Leicester".That's right mate , anyone else remember we all follow the tottenham over land and sea 'and Leicester !' Does anyone know why the Leicester bit is included in the song?
"Here I am! Rock you like a Harry-Kane!" needs to happen. To the tune of "rock you like a hurricane" by Scorpions
Woop Woop, that's the sound of Lloris
No, my mate and I are the only ones who shout it in the Shelf and Thelonious and I failed to get it going in the pub before Fulham away once!Love that of course, but is it widely recognised as "his song"?
